With all these new features, the Adidas Adistar is a completely new shoe that carries some small hints of its past.

The 6 mm drop of the Adistar feels more like a 10 mm or 12 mm because of how much firmer the heel is, compared to the forefoot so it feels like your foot is sitting on a steep downward ramp. Alternatively, we can recommend the Nike Invincible Run 3 and Hoka Clifton 9 to runners who want a soft yet responsive ride. It looks unlike any other Adidas running shoe and if it weren’t for the stripes on the side or the logo on the tongue, I would have bet it was a Hoka.

The psoas starts from the spine while the iliacus begins from the inner part of the pelvis (iliac fossa).
