I thought this watercolor tutorial by Ekaterina Smirnova would work well for the sample painting because of the layered mountain effect, and stay my heavy-handed tendencies.

The case is made of good sturdy plastic and so is the mixing tray, it's a pitty the inlay tray is flimsy plastic that can easily tear/bend if your not careful. I shared with you guys my first few watercolor paintings in my January Watercolor Doodles post and since then I’ve been trying to use my watercolors every day.
