The LEGO Technic Bugatti Chiron (42083) took a long time to complete but the end result is a very nice looking supercar. And I think there's hardly any reason to bash them for the Bugatti -yes, it did have a lot of flaws and, yes, this entire series still seems odd, as it's neither truely technic nor truely icons. Allegedly, the reason for not doing it in trans-clear, is that the material of the flex axles (and panels) is not suitable for trans-clear colors.

There were design flaws, too much torque and blocking because there were only two differentials, one per axle. Admittedly, I would have loved to see a custom built engine with other parts than the standard pistons and cylinders, like the MACK truck.
