I won't claim that all 4 films are classics seems to me that the level of Tim Burton involvment over the 4 movies is uncannily mirrored in the quality of the movies. The Batman Motion Picture Anthology Blu-ray box-set is fantastic value for money and absolute must-have for all fans of the caped crusader.

The franchise won the title of Batman Anthology in 2005, with the launch of Box Batman: The Motion Picture Anthology who included 2-disc special edition DVDs of the Burton/Schumacher Batman films. I especially appreciated the fact that it doesn't have any preview trailers that you have to skip through; the movies begin without having to select play. Arnie's name is 1st up followed by Clooney and a sense that the makers want to push the names in this film to make up for its short commings. It is true that Batman and Robin is probably the weakest movie in the set however, I think it is still entertaining and I appreciate the old-school special effects.
