What I gained from this book was not so much the teachings of, “here’s how the Pleiadians do it because we said so,” but it was about connecting to your spiritual self. I remember when I thought this was all crap until I put it into practice and my life has totally switched around now.

Master storytellers and humorists, they advise us to become media free, to work in teams, and to eliminate the words "should" and "try" from our vocabularies. I scoffed when it stated that women have been worrying needlessly about contraception for eons because all we really have to do is state our intention NOT to get pregnant, and it won't happen. Honestly, this really does have some interesting concepts, like living your life as you best see fit outside of the constraints of "acceptable convention. Darryl Anka, channel for "Bashar" "Bringers of the Dawn offers key teachings about the original records of the Earth that are filled with power, love, and clear intention about how to participate in the magnificent new time of birthing the original genius of our planet. Quick side note; I recently watched Everything Everywhere All at Once, and there were some striking similarities with this book in terms of Barbara’s thoughts on spirituality.It is a decent read if you can get past some of the things I mentioned like the repetitiveness, but I sincerely did not feel any "flow" to the book. There is tonnes of information in this book that will have your eyes almost popping out of your head.

By remembering that we are Family of Light, that we share an ancient ancestry with the universe around us, we become "bringers of the dawn," consciously creating a new reality, a new Earth.However, she also mentions that those reading this book are likely doing so because they are a part of the Family of Light. We tend to believe that we live in the land of the free and the home of the brave, yet we live in the most controlled experimental society on the planet. If something does not honor life and does not honor Earth, you can bet it is going to fall, and it is going to fall big time” (pg 89).

There were good messages throughout: love is the most important key, be true to your self/soul, do not fall for society's traps, we are living in an illusion, etc. however there is one small thing that I have noticed about these early books that has me a bit suspect.

you had to be here to understand and perceive the change from their point of view to create the frequency for their change. We must, as a species, make it our intention to stay very clear, to stay centered, and always to bring ourselves into the moment. When you are in service to yourself and are committed to personally evolving and changing, you uplift everyone around you. The messages went from speaking to the reader as a member of the Family of Light who chose to come here to help raise humanity's frequency,and therefore someone chosen with a distinct purpose.

We are here to wake up and let information flow back to earth, we are here to kick start a new type of evolution. However, at the time I was caught up in the New Age nonsense and in my naivety I began following a person who could be thought of as a cult 'leader'.At times, this book was hard to stay focused on, mostly because of the way it was written, but when I was able to stay focused, I was able to get into her points and take in her messages. When I started reading this book, it was full of knowledge I already knew, but definitely didn’t mind reading again. We live in a universe much larger than imagined yet connects all together creating a balance that is so valuable, if it was thrown off balance it would cause chaos.
