About this deal

When utilizing this kettle for pour over coffee brewing I have found it the best kettle I have ever used for this purpose. You can change your choices at any time by visiting Cookie preferences, as described in the Cookie notice. After a decade of coffee dependence, I recently transitioned to tea with the hopes of eliminating jitters and morning headaches.

All it requires is a wipe down with a damp cloth both on the inside and outside of the kettle after use. Temperature Presets: White (170°F), Green (180°F), Oolong (195°F), Coffee (205°F), and Boil Black (212°F).Previously, she was the site's senior home editor, covering all things decor- and bedding-related since 2015. Unlike boiling water in a stovetop kettle, you don’t have to babysit the COSORI device, stare at a thermometer, or wait for a shrill whistle to sound. And this is simply due to the stylish gooseneck spout which is the main reason I purchased this kettle. You can watch the video review if you like which can be seen below but this written review is a bit more comprehensive.

This machine boils water relatively fast, the container has a large capacity, and it has a visually appealing light display to boot. Though the gooseneck pour spout was much better than using a normal tea kettle for making pour-over coffee, I felt that the gooseneck lacked total control.Be the first to review “COSORI Electric Kettle Glass – Fast Boil, Quiet, Blue LED Indicator – Stainless Steel Filter, Boil-Dry Protection – BPA Free – 1. Excellent kettle, looks good, boils quickly and visibly, but also audibly, the sound level declines a bit as all the water approaches boiling temperature, so you know when to switch off or pick up the kettle to make coffee, which is best at just below boiling point, 100 degrees C. Boiling water on the stove for way too long or using a Keurig to make hot water may still give you a drinkable result, but if you're steeping at a way-too-hot-or-cold temperature, you end up losing some of the flavor nuances of the tea or coffee.

Some mention that the blue light is nice, while others say that it's not a magical trick of light and that the light stops a good inch or more either side of the kettle. This is the first electric kettle I have used that has never leaked and this is simply because of the design of the gooseneck spout.
