About this deal

This small inverter generator is good for small household items such as lights, small TVs, laptops, fans, USB chargers, etc.

The Makita really seems like a dedicated cordless power station solution to me, as you can’t simply swap in whatever 18V or XGT 40V Max batteries you want. I make a ''GENERAL'' point, and I'm not having a go at you, it is a ''general'' across the board, the ''whole'' question needs be addressed.

Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item. The Makita really seems like a dedicated cordless power station solution to me, as you cannot simply .

So finally for 800W load, we should get around 18minutes of run on four batteries, two will give us only 9 minutes. If an item is not delivered or arrives in a damaged or otherwise defective condition, please contact us within 7 days and request a claim. Also 1800w max would be preferable- I have a corded Dewalt miter saw and Skil SPT-99 table saw I rather like, it would be great to have a silent and fume-free solution to power them in a pinch.Battery Compatibility- This power supply inverter only works for Makita 18V lithium batteries, such as BL1815 BL1820B BL1830 BL1830B BL1840 BL1840B BL1850 BL1850B BL1860 etc. Brands like Ridgid/AEG have integrated the battery monitor and sensor within the battery, while other brands have placed these components in the tool itself. To start off, it’s advertised as delivering “powerful AC power for anywhere,” and features 2x 1400W AC outlets. The most difficult thing in outdoor camping outings is to charge the small household appliances that you bring. Does Makita, or anyone else, make a box that you plug 2-4 (or whatever) batteries into and out comes 120v?

In general it’s large and quite powerful 12V power supply, that can be extended with 12V inverter (up to you if it’s going to be 230V or 110V). Given the expense of the PDC1200, I can see Makita wanting to play it safe and remain well within the battery’s discharge limitations. Power Inverter for Makita 18V Battery w/AC Outlet USB-A Type-C Ports Portable Power Station LED Light Outdoor Generator for Road Trip, Home Emergency, Laptop (Tool Only, No Battery) - Walmart. I tried running 20 feet of 12v cable then using dc/dc inverter to 19v, failed dismally, i can however run out 40 feet of 240 cord and convert that to 19, camera and laptop are connected and limited in distance to length of usb cable, again i cant run a 40 foot usb cable. For aggregated current lines use 10mm 2 wires (at least 6mm 2), for battery->switch->fuse->buck converter->aggregator 4mm 2 wires will be sufficient. Makita also makes a DC cigarette lighter style vehicle slow charger for LXT batteries, so that may be a better way to charge if you’re worried about the losses and not worried about the extended charge time.
