About this deal

Experience told us that instant electric showers are not all the same, with some failing to reach the anticipated temperature or pressure necessary for a pleasant showering experience. Users love the design, the consistent heat and the strong flow rate, plus the way the display flashes until the water has reached the correct temperature or shows “CL” to remind you to clean the showerhead. The Mira Azora Dual also comes with Mira’s Clearscale™ technology, which is designed to reduce limescale by 50%, this means it will last longer and save you having to replace it.

This Mira shower is fitted with thermostatic control and the temperature remains stable regardless of someone flushing the toilet or running a cold water tap, and it also has a factory setting limit so that it cannot produce temperatures which could scald, thus making it very family friendly. The latter of these gives you a little more power at the high-end than most budget rivals, while the well-designed head has five spray settings, ranging from a light mist to a jet. Only thing I would say if there was to be an improvement there’s no change of flow on the hand held shower head - but thats the only thing! Check the specifications of any shower, which should list a minimum sustained pressure level (in bar) and flow rate (in litres per minute). With regard to the design, this electric shower is extremely contemporary and sophisticated looking while also being totally functional. The Clearscale technology is made to reduce deposits of limescale which makes cleaning the unit even easier and ensures a longer lifespan. In addition to Clearscale™ technology, it also features Mira’s Sensi-flo™ technology, which is designed to prevent scalding from sudden surges of hot water. Bear in mind that this one only runs from a gravity-fed system, and that while it might be tempting to run it from a mains supply you’re more likely to damage the shower than get a boost. The Mira Azora electric shower boasts a stunning frosted glass fascia, creating the illusion of a built-in shower.

That can make a big difference if you’re fitting the shower yourself, with some manufacturers now selling easy-fit models that even hapless DIY-ers might be able to manage on their own. The Mira Azora dual means the users can easily switch between the hand shower or the large deluge head. The Mira Decor Dual is an exception, giving you a choice of a “deluge” overhead shower or a fiercer spray from a smaller separate hand showerhead.Immediately the Azora burst into life and we were able to adjust the temperature via the three heater settings available and the variable control setting for the water power.

Thermostatic temperature control and Mira Sensi flo ™ technology helps prevent the risk of scalding, ensuring safer showering for all the family. Controls: By this, we just mean the choice you face between buttons, dials and (occasionally) touch-sensitive controls for the shower itself. Showers scoring five scores produced around a litre more per minute than models scoring three stars. The installation of the Azora is helped greatly by the fact that both the water and electric entry points can be from the top, bottom or rear of the unit.
