As we have already stated, Hereditary and Midsommar director Ari Aster is the man behind this bewildering new movie. His previous movies were critically acclaimed and were hailed as works of genius in some quarters, so here’s hoping Beau Is Afraid is as good as his previous works. Beau Is Afraid is due out on the big screen on April 21st, 2023, so we’re expecting it to arrive digitally with early access first. In the UK, this should be between 30 and 45 days after the cinema release, so you’re probably looking at late May at the very earliest, but more likely June 2023.
