It’s a ½ inch drive kit for when you need to add more force than the Bahco’s SL25’s ¼ inch drive can give you. The quality of the reversible ratchet wrench is important. The more teeth it has (preferably at least 50) the smoother the action. A rubberised handle with a textured soft grip is ideal.

A non-ratcheting drive handle is really useful so you can apply more torque when working on stubborn bolts. I can’t fault the Bahco kits, they’re smaller but all the effort goes where you need it. Arguably a bit hefty, but otherwise excellent. I prefer my lovely Teng, Facom and old Brittool stuff but it was quite a bit more expensive and really not massively better.
