About this deal

https://www.cnx-software.com/2022/01/25/sonoff-zbmini-l-zigbee-3-0-smart-switch-works-without-neutral-wire/ As a smart switch, the SONOFF ZBMINI Extreme can be used to switch on and off lights or home appliances as long as the power consumption does not exceed the specifications (6A). This smart switch can be used together with either the eWeLink application or Home Assistant to enable an on/off schedule, a timer, a count-down timer, and so on. My favorite use case is to use it as a smart switch to turn on/off my ventilation fan or DIY air purifier for which we can write a simple rule/automation with data from other inputs, e.g. PM25 sensor, to reduce the power consumption of the air purifier. Keep in mind that this is only to switch a device on/off, and it can not control the speed of the fan. Which exact firmware version is on each and every ITead SONOFF ZBMINI-L device with this delay problem?

Sonoff ZBMiniL2 doesn’t have a power meter function, not a massive issue as the switch will be connected to a source with fixed power consumption. You can get estimated consumption using my flow in NodeRED. The device alone has a minimal power consumption of its own.Update OTA_URLs.md with some Philips Hue URLs got from https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee-herdsman-converters/pull/4124 The current state of this switch is in the published state under the state property (value is ON or OFF). To control this switch publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/set with payload {"state": "ON"}, {"state": "OFF"} or {"state": "TOGGLE"}. To read the current state of this switch publish a message to topic zigbee2mqtt/FRIENDLY_NAME/get with payload {"state": ""}. # Linkquality (numeric)

I connected mine to a couple of classic bulbs and a candle type smart bulb and it just worked. Compatibility and Features First of all, sorry if any term is not correct. I am starting with the DIY of home automation and electrical issues, although I know something, I am not a professional. Also, I am not native english speaker person. As the newest in the ZBMINI line, it carries the DNA of its predecessors but is now 40% smaller and 100% better designed. It looks much better with the new curved edge design and the orange stripe. With the original PR, this would introduce an UNSUPPORTED_ATTRIBUTE error on for example Heiman HS2SK, and no readings could be fetched from the device. Add _TZE200_bvu2wnxz to SEA801-Zigbee/SEA802-Zigbee. https://github.com/Koenkk/zigbee2mqtt/issues/12315

Success!

The technical specification lists a temperature range from 5 to 35 deg celsius. See here (MaxHeatSetpointLimit): https://assets.danfoss.com/documents/193613/AM375549618098en-000102.pdf There are no official firmware updates released as Zigbee OTA images available from ITead/Sonoff for the original “ZBMINI” which is model "01MINIZB from ITead/Sonoff, but you can find unofficial community-developed custom firmware from for example PTVO, however you will need to flash firmware using a debug probe adapter, see: My idea is to keep the traditional switches (for home aesthetics - the house is new and I don’t want to change all of them). https://www.reddit.com/r/homeautomation/comments/skbvns/finally_a_sonoff_zb_mini_that_works_without/ Model number 66492-001 seems to be very similar, if not identical to model 99140-139. Added ['SMARTCODE_CONVERT_GEN1_W3'] which is what my model 99140-139 shows as zigbeeModel when I paired to Z2M, though it looks exactly like to 66492-001 ['SMARTCODE_CONVERT_GEN1'].
