Keep in mind that {like oil pastels or regular crayons}you cannot write directly on them {unless used like watercolor, dissolved}because they gunk up the nib or get wax on the fiber tip. After it dried, I reworked the same painting with more coloring and a medium Pentel Aquash water brush. What I had down prior worked like an under painting. I also found you can use each individual crayon as basically a paint tube. Grab a wet brush and rub it against the end of the crayon to transfer some paint to your brush.
