About this deal

the romance itself I think was developed quite well. It wasn’t anything too insta but it wasn’t unnecessarily drawn out either. The conflict itself I felt was kind of weak and I wished it was a different one. While I understood that the hero had a hard time shedding his fake persona and had fears about his success without it ( even if they were unrealistic to us as readers) I felt like it was a bit much for him to take such measures especially after his feelings for the heroine grew so much and their life got so intertwined. This playlist is the bomb I love it so much!! Legit flew through me and I am not apologizing thank you very much!! Miller + Kai + Max = everything. The romance between the couple is perfect, the relationship between Kai and his son was the most beautiful and heartwarming, and don’t even get me started on the bond that Miller develops with Max. It’s the best thing ever. When Max finally gets her name out, and instead of Miller its Mama he’s trying to say… I bawled honestly this is everything I want in a romance. I’ll take no criticism with this book it’s as close to perfect as they come.

he gets “better” (less insufferable) after a few chapters, which is obviously predictable so i don’t know why i’m saying this. and, even though i’m not Zander’s biggest fan, i can admit that there was a few nice things about his character: What I don’t like is the new flight attendant on our team’s private plane. She works for me, not the other way around. But I’ll be sure to remind her of that, and I can guarantee, by the end of the season, she’ll be begging to quit her job. i’m not gonna give this book a five star despite all my rambling about how much i loved it, and the answer is pretty simple; I don’t think it deserves a five star i’m trying to be a little more critical, and not give five stars out like candy on halloween. i can’t give you an exact reason to why this wasn’t a five star for me, other than i don’t feel like it deserves a five star. it was very predictable, and the writing was very normal and not anything special. i’d say read this book if you liked the first two in the series, if not then don’t <3 Zander’s conversation with his father had me crying. The way his relationship with his father came around… 😢.

there are so many amazing new characters in this book but also cameos and joyous future updates from our favorite couples. i’m DYING so isaiah and kennedy’s story. he was so so funny. but please, liz, god, mother nature, WHOEVER is listening, i NEED monty to have a story… preferably with me 🤪 Also, this might be my all-time favorite depiction of a curvy heroine. The complexity of how that affects not only who you are as a person, but how others treat you in different ways. It was a big part of how Stevie sees herself, and seeing Zanders use his therapy techniques to break down her walls and reteach her the importance of self-esteem was the most romantic part of this story. True love builds others up and keeps them going with your support and dedication. You don’t have a kid. You have a baby.” Indy’s tone switches to soft and sweet, her smile beaming as she looks through Kai’s phone. “Yeah,” he sighs. “And he’s looking for a mom.”

As someone who loves long books, I can honestly say, this book had no reason to be as long as it was. There was no character development with Miller and it was just the same thing every chapter of her pushing him away and reminding him she’s leaving and won’t consider staying.the side characters were all amazing, max kai’s son, monty miller’s dad and kai’s coach, isaiah kai’s brother and his teammate, zanders and stevie from the first book “mile high”, rio zanders teammate, ryan and indy from the second book “the right move”. i hope she actually listened to people’s criticisms this time about writing stories that aren’t hers to tell She might need a reminder that she’s working for me, but I’ll make sure she understands. I’m petty that way. I’ll remember that little interaction for as long as she’s on my airplane.” I read this a couple of months ago so I’m reviewing from a place of trying to remember all the details. I LOVE THIS BOOK WITH ALL OF MY HEART. I was so emotional when finishing because I just didn’t want it to end.

The found family in this book was so comforting, I love Ella and all the Madison’s and how they took in and treated Zanders as their own! Having a fake girlfriend wasn't supposed to be messy but having Indy under my roof and in my bed is complicated, especially when she wants all the romantic parts of life that I could never give her. Maybe he should loosen up every once in a while. He’s got a cute- ass kid and an even cuter smile when he shows it.”

Coupe du monde de rugby : une bd à gagner !

the sports aspect (I’m a fan of most sports romances) unfortunately, lately I’ve found them to be very predictable, meaning the heroines have mostly the same job titles, the tropes I’m okay with but the execution of those are just the same scenarios recycled over and over and I really want something different. Good thing about this book, while it wasn’t some completely innovative plot it was different enough for me to enjoy it. he had a cute relationship with his best friend/teammate’s child, Ella. we didn’t get much scenes of them together but i enjoyed the ones we got. I loved the sibling relationship between brother and sister ( twins - heroine and her brother). I loved how it was free of toxicity. Because in most books the brother tries to run his sisters life in an attempt to “protect” her while realistically doing more damage. I absolutely loved how her brother was there for her and supported her in every aspect while letting her make the decisions about her life and being there for her if something didn’t work out. He did the same with his family ( his mom who was an amazing mother to him but was toxic and awfully passive aggressive to his sister). He stood by the sister and respectfully told his mom off for acting differently towards the two of them. It was healing to read about such a great dynamic of siblings.

This was one of my most anticipated reads as Liz is a go-to author for me, but this one just didn't hit like I wanted or thought it would. This had so much potential, but there were just some moments that I couldn't agree with. Those moments are what made me give this a lower rating than what I wanted. I, however, still enjoyed it mostly. I just wanted and expected more. but I’d do it all over again. I’d fall in love with you all over again. I’d break my heart all over again because loving you was one of the greatest surprises of my life.”Tbh I had really low expectations for this book. Mile High and The Right Move had fun characters and some cute moments but I wasn’t super impressed with the overall writing quality. Also, I really went into this thinking who tf is Kai and why should I care about this man????? Authors, if you are a member of the Goodreads Author Program, you can edit information about your own books. Find out how in this guide. I did feel like it was longer than it needed to be, and since I’ve read so many books similar to this in the past, it felt extremely predictable to me - but I really liked both characters and enjoyed watching their story unfold, so it didn’t end up bringing down my enjoyment for it. I wish we had more insight with regards to the mental health organisation he ran with his friend, Maddison.
