Optimus Prime's third card, Nemesis Prime, homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, though Optimus Prime himself is recolored from his first card. Dinobot's third card, "Dinomus", homages the reformatting sequence from The Transformers: The Movie, and is the first (and so far, only) wholly new design.
Megatron's third card once again depicts him in his Siege body, and features Starscream, Soundwave, Ratbat, Brunt, Spinister, Reflector and Frenzy/Rumble among other generics in a crowd. Like I've said, there's no clear answer for this. It's why Apple and Samsung have gone to court over reverse engineering, and many other similar lawsuits. I daresay Hasbro doesn't want to suffer any potentially legal or financial problems linked to it. The "disk" consists of a cover or canister—on which a set of pictograms are found—and a phonograph record inside the canister. The record, titled "The Sounds of Earth", has a "data" portion and a sound portion. In the data portion are over a hundred encoded images including photographs of the Earth and its lifeforms, as well as drawings of human biology and reproduction. The audio portion includes sounds of natural environments on Earth, wildlife, human voices, and music. The quantum surge causes a time vortex, intercepting the GoBot Road Ranger and the Autobots Pipes and Huffer, pulling them through time and space. During the wild journey through the vortex, Huffer and Pipes fuse and arrive on prehistoric Earth as Puffer. With the force of the quantum surge suppressed, there isn't enough power to create the vortex, to save and power up Terrorsaur when he falls into the lava, to mutate Tigatron, or to take out all the Maximals and Predacons. And so the Autobots are never brought through the vortex, Terrorsaur perishes in the lava, Tigatron never mutates, and the Maximals and most of the Predacons survive, getting hit by a less powerful surge that causes some to gain new Transmetal forms. Some viewers noted discs of the first wave proved to be cropped and distorted and otherwise poorly restored to present the shorts in "widescreen" as opposed to their original aspect ratio (though these were just for the post-1953 shorts). Warner Bros. stated the reason for this was that all post-1953 WB shorts were shown in matted-widescreen in theaters.
