About this deal

As with just about all the recent Chaos Space Marine releases (see Eldritch Omens), there are a huge amount of variant builds for each figure. Each model can be assembled two or three ways – aside from one particular Marine, which has whopping five different builds.

I think the comparison is fair, but we could be looking at a little more for the Guardians overall. Kill Team Nachmund Terrain ValueThe Battlezone: Fronteris Nachmund box set has a decent amount of terrain inside, but how much cash will it save you value-wise? I mean, I expect this to still be somewhere between a 30% – 40% discount. bit no matter which way you slice it, you;re paying the bulk here for terrain pieces. Which is what Kill team is very much about. Severe and functional, these bastions have just enough gothic flourishes and skulls to make it very clear these are Imperial-made.* Overall, I’m very happy to recommend Battlezone: Fronteris Nachmund, every part of this kit, including the surprisingly sturdy box, lives up to the usual high quality standards GW is renowned for and I love that it look distinctly different from the other terrain while still having the same continuity of design. Based on the value of this set having 2 sprues. In Kill Team Nachmund we get 2 of the same sprue instead of 2 different ones

Thanks for the tips! I recently got a good amount of terrain from discounted sources, and it is exceedingly nice to have pointers on how to generate this run-down, off-white as first presented in the "KillTeam: Octarius" barricades. The walls/fences are pretty straightforward as well, and come with a series of corner pieces you can use to set corners for them, though enterprising modelers may want to magnetize these to create something more modular. The actual pieces aren’t particularly built with this in mind, however. For the most part, the veritable forest of scenery that comes with the Nachmund box is fairly straightforward to build. The majority of the component parts that go into each model are fairly few, and the guide – although occasionally brief (i.e. skipping repeat steps on some duplicate components with different numbers) – is clear enough. The prices are guessed at this point, but based on what we’ve seen, we think this is pretty close. I wonder how many more of these we’ll see over the next few years, and who will be squaring off against who next? Whatever faction you take to Nachmund, you’re sure to stumble across Imperial handiwork, making this terrain a must-have. It will be released later in the year as part of the host of releases that will make up this season of Warhammer 40,000.These boxes tend to be fairly predictable in their contents so as not to play favourites with certain factions, so each release tends to contain a new rules manual, two Kill Teams of around 10 miniatures, some transfer sheets, a few bits of terrain, and a new gaming board for players to play on. Sure, Octarius had a few extras, but that’s to be expected as it was a new edition launch special. Pipes, Cranes, and Fuel Reservoirs are the most basic of the new terrain features, with the former having the Light and Traversable traits.and the latter two having just the Heavy trait. What appears to be a rough 40% saving across the board is weighted heavily by the terrain in this box. as that was calculated based on the individual parts where possible.
