Yes, you can live stream and record at the same time. The streaming quality setting will determine the quality of your recording. For example, if you set the streaming to Streaming Medium, then the recording will also be set to Streaming Medium automatically. This might result in recordings that are not as high as you like, so it might be better to choose a higher streaming quality if you want higher quality recordings. The multiview feature is a fantastic feature to have, and really makes you feel like you’re behind the controls of a professional TV setup. Recording directly to HDD and streaming without needing a computer are also two great features that are worth exploring. When your ATEM Mini Pro’s USB-C output is connected to an external disk for recording and you want to keep using ATEM Software Control, the USB connection will be busy, so you will need to connect your ATEM Mini Pro to your computer via Ethernet. This is quite easy, as you can connect a network cable direct between your computer and the ATEM Mini.
