I loved the characters of Paige and Elijah, I loved their quirks, but I also found sadness in them. But I adored how they found each other. It was unique to me, and it was so satisfying and exciting to read. One of those books, without hyperbole, that every teen should read. There is so much going on here - dysfunctional family relationships, bullying, coming of age, first steps into relationships - all interweaved with brilliant literary references. It helped that the books referenced are some of my absolute favourites too, of course.
