Some of the girls' friends are Kitty, Beanie, Lavinia, Kitty's younger sister Binny and in the novels, we don't get much of an insight into them so it was great for me to find out more about these girls and what mysteries they get up to solving. The narrator of that story was Beanie who is also so incredibly humble and naïve and innocent: she is so adorable and I love her.His grandmother the countess was ill so he asked us if we could come with him and George to Russia. Daisy wanted this of course because we hadn’t investigated anything lately( unless you count the case of the stolen jam tart) and this was a chance for a probably new investigation. I tried to make it clear that it wasn’t poison that was making her ill but Daisy persisted. I didn’t know whether to go or not because we had been meant to go to Egypt with Amina until the ship voyage had been cancelled and she would feel upset if we went somewhere without her. So Daisy suggested that she came too. So it was decided that we three went to Russia with Alexander and George. Till Lavinia started moaning she wanted to come too and so did Kitty and Beanie was meant to be staying with Kitty so that is how the whole of our dorm and Amina went to Russia with Alexander and George.The first few weeks went perfectly well George and Alexander met Kitty, Lavinia ,Amina and Beanie properly and we eat this dessert called pastilla but then the murder happened. Miss Khorovska was murdered and Daisy and I knew it was time to investigate a murder case (with our other detective society members Kitty,Beanie, Lavinia and Amina) one more time…
