This extraordinary four-disc set rounds up everything Blur produced around the time of Parklife, including the original album, remixes, radio sessions, demos and live performances.Seriously though, 'Parklife' actually is good - songs like ‘To The End’ and ‘End Of A Century’ show off genuine songwriting chops, and who could resist shaking leg to ‘Girls And Boys’ when it comes on at the indie disco? At a time when Oasis were a ping the sounds of their pub-rock heroes on Definitely Maybe, Blur drew from the legacy of the Kinks and Small Faces to create an album that's as English as a rainy Sunday in front of the gas fire. At a time when Oasis were aping the sounds of their pub-rock heroes on Definitely Maybe, Blur drew from the legacy of the Kinks and Small Faces to create an album that's as English as a rainy Sunday in front of the gas fire. Over its 40 years in business, PIAS has grown to be one of the largest independently-owned music groups in the world, carving out its own in-house recorded music division PIAS [Recordings].

the original is appealing in that it's nice and warm but at the expense of immediacy and spatial information. The vinyl release of Blur's "Parklife" provides a superior listening experience as it accentuates the depth and warmth of the band's rich, textured soundscapes.

The diverse tracklisting and exceptional sound quality on vinyl, coupled with the iconic album art, make this release a nostalgic treasure that can be enjoyed by generations to come. La calidad de sonido es excelente, lo único que le falta es solo un poquitíto más de volumen pero todo lo demás (prensado, master utilizado y equalización) es muy bueno. Blur's 'Parklife' vinyl album transports fans back to the golden age of Britpop with a warm, authentic audio experience.

that said, it's clearly cut from the original CD master, and while it sounds good, the 2LP remaster sounds much better. Funnily experimental and seriously radio-friendly, "Parklife" is their true concept album, somewhat informed by the predecessor LP "Modern Life Is Rubbish", an intriguing statement-by-title, fully absorbed with "Parklife" into a tour-de-force, socio-political 16-track masterpiece. Will show some signs that it was played and otherwise handled by a previous owner who took good care of it. Although Blur had long been recognised as one of the premier bands responsible for the reinvigoration of Britpop in the 1990s, it is 1994's Parklife that truly provided the template for the entire movement. The warmth and depth of sound unique to the vinyl format elevate the album's indelible melodies and captivating themes.
