I wanted to read something light since I'd been continuously reading dark romances. At the same time a bit angsty read and "the one who got away" trope always serves as an angsty read.

It had a lot of potential but I feel like, it could've been even more angsty if Keelan had mentioned their first couple of years together as well-as in Past part and then present. It definitely would've been it. The heroine having a hard time having an O was definitely unique and I loved how the hero handled it.Please note: This listing is for the published, revised version of Offside only as there will be some substantial edits and changes. Since he broke her heart, she know better than to fall for the man moreover the college had imposed a strict no-fraternization policy between athletes and their trainers. i’ve been living my best life with a massive headache. in other words: a dry spell, a book slump, that doesn’t want to quit no matter what. Chase was the star of the book for me. He’s funny, filthy, protective and honestly hot af. Everything else just felt very drawn out yet not quite fully flushed out. I still enjoyed it because I really do like character driven novels focused on the couple, and I’m down to try the next book in the series when it comes out. I really really liked a lot of things about this book. First and foremost, I liked the fact that things were realistic and genuine. Violet put herself out there for Nash because she believed in him and truly loved him, she was patient with him and tried her best to understand his point of view on a lot of things.

Unlike many authors who do not have a favorite novel, Avery Keelan has said that her favorite novel is “Rules of the Game.” After what happened last time, I know better than to fall for Nash again. Not to mention, there’s a strict no-fraternization policy between trainers and their athletes. Problem is, our chemistry is hotter than ever—and he’s determined to make me give him another chance.. After what happened last time, I know better than to fall for Nash again. Not to mention, there’s a strict no-fraternization policy between trainers and their athletes. Problem is, our chemistry is hotter than ever—and he’s determined to convince me to give him another chance. I also didn’t like how there were so many loose ends with Luke. Like wtf did he even want? He dumped her? Why was he stalking her, what was his motivation to split them up? More insight on that situation would have been good. Violet deserves an award for being the most patient person. She was very mature which was a nice change of pace. The conflict was not threaded throughout the plot enough. It would be non existent and then, bam, a chapter with one of the exes, and then they would go away and all would be well. The build of the conflict needed to start earlier and have a better build up. Because so much of the book was them in their happy phase, a lot of it read like we were just following along on their daily lives, little to no plot, character or relationship development.

somehow the enforcer made me fall in love with sports college romance (and reading), to an extent, all over again. this reinvigorated me in unfit body, destitute soul and wretched mind. thank you avery keelan. The Enforcer” by Avery Keelan is the beautiful romance story of Nash and Violet. He had been her first boyfriend who was her first love, her first time, her first heartbreak, and her first everything. Before we know it, the boundaries begin to blur until we can’t see them anymore. But with so much on the line, I'm risking a lot more than just my heart this time.Bottom Line? It was ok. I think there was a lot of fluff that could have been paired down. I skimmed a lot of the last 60%. But I finished. 🤷🏼‍♀️. ⭐️⭐️⭐️ I also really loved their cooperation with each other. Violet wasn't the only patient one, Nash was as well. He tried his best to be the guy Violet deserved, he went out of his comfort zone and even tried opening up little by little so there would be no fatal mistakes again. The whole aspect of Nash only loving her and only showing himself to her was one of the best parts of this book, I couldn't get enough of it.
