The owner Mrs Tilsley is very welcoming and a lovely lady who made sure everything was perfect for us. The kitchen it fully equipped with all you need, even down to baking equipment!! The hot tub was unreal too with the most scenic views to sit in front of! I will most definitely be returning! A traffic-free route through the Drumochter Pass (one of Britain's highest transport corridors) is one of the highlights of the whole network. We had been due to go to spain for our break but 2020 happened so we booked here. We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful, chilled out place, we were not disappointed.A great property, immaculately clean and kitted out with everything you could need. Plenty of parking at the front, and nice gardens to sit out in (too cold for us to do this unfortunately) and a big play area for the kids. Ben Woodhouse, the local GP who later marries Soo-Ming. The seaside resort of Bridlington lies on the east coast of Yorkshire, south of Scarborough and Filey. Two award-winning beaches of golden sand stretch out on either side of the historic harbour, bustling with activity. Beautifully designed promenades provide everything from fun-fairs to quiet places where you can sit and watch the world go by. Shops, attractions, restaurants and the historic 'Old Town' of Bridlington offer a fascinating contrast to life on the beach, where the latest Dad's Army has been filmed, whilst the Bridlington Spa Theatre on the front provides evening entertainment. There is also the East Riding Leisure Centre, with family swimming area and a variety of other indoor activities. Further afield are the picturesque villages and scenery of the Yorkshire Wolds, the neighbouring resorts of Filey, Scarborough and Whitby and the spectacular heritage coastline. There are numerous places to visit in the area, including Bempton's RSPB bird sanctuary, Sewerby Hall, Danes Dyke and Flamborough Head with its cliffs and caves. A great area for bird and nature lovers, or simply for touring. Perfect for couples and families alike, this cottage offers comfortable accommodation for up to five guests and ideally sits within close proximity of the area’s most wonderful attractions. Very nice owners who we're there if needed but not intrusive. Would definitely return. Furniture and bed very comfortable and easy to get around as I am disabled. The cottage had everything that you would need, also the kitchen had all you would need to cook meals, the decor throughout was very good including fresh flowers. fresh milk, bread, biscuits were there for us as well as tea and coffee. Information on all the appliances was in the kitchen and plenty of information on places to visit and the owners were on hand if you needed them. A really comfortable and cosy cottage, situated in peaceful and relaxing grounds, it is highly recommended. A perfect base from which to explore the surrounding area.
