I think I can judge it is excellent and suits for late autumn and winter, starting from mid november in hot countries.

if i am breaking this down, as best i can, this starts sweet with watermelon, but not citrus sweet, melon sweet, less acidic more sugar. Presentation is basic, bottle isn't bad, but the cap is plastic and flimsy and feels like its going to fall apart when you remove it from the bottle.The combination of amber woods and wild leather makes this fragrance sensationally different, exciting and appealing. A safe option for office wear or casual occasions, day or night, mostly for mild weather in my opinion.

hours on my skin really is disappointing (Frags usually last a long time on me, Gucci Pour Homme II for example lasts all day). it's a soft fragrance, you may think the scent has disappear 2-3 hours after application, but actually it's still there.

This is a refined fragrance where traditional masculine notes have been elevated with spices and melon giving the scent plenty of freshness.

Chic has an alcoholic opening for about 5 seconds and then it starts off with a not too bright citrus opening that is quickly accompanied by a sharp pepper. Top notes are Red Freesia, Tuberose and Bulgarian Rose, middle notes are Freesia, Lily-of-the-Valley, Mandarin Blossom and Orange Blossom, base notes are White Musk, Sandalwood and Vanilla. It's also got a smooth musk base which is actually enjoyable compared to other musk fragrances of the same Era. I also own my second bottle of Pleasures by Estee Lauder, another scent that gives me the feeling of being freshly showered all day. Start with a fresh watermelon and lemon scent, slowly getting more fresh and somehow becomes more calmly from the scent of cinnamons and rosin wood.Eastern mysteriousness and sensuality are felt in the base notes: sandalwood, cedar, ambergris, musk and Tonka bean. I have a bottle from release its much darker I stopped wearing because spritzer broke it drew massive compliments and smelled amazing had the best dry down ever. I'd choose this over lots of other mainstream fodder just for the fresh fruitiness of that melon note.

I lived in West Africa during my childhood , and my mother would never let us go play outside in the garden in the afternoons without first spraying OFF. If the melon lingered too long into the dry down then I would be but it truly shines after the melon.It would be a direct competitor to Bleu De and Sauvage especially in it's older formulation when it was a lot more potent. It hangs around for a good 8 hours or so and would definitely work on a woman who enjoys woody scents and sweets. PS: I don't know if the current OFF still smells the same, but I am referring to the bottles we used back in the 80s.
