Automatic Scene recognition / Custom1-3 / Colour temperature selection (2500K-10000K) / Preset: Fine, Shade, Fluorescent light (Daylight), Fluorescent light (Warm White), Fluorescent light (Cool White), Incandescent light, Underwater The XF10 lens’ relatively bright f/2.8 aperture helps keep shutter speeds high in gloomier conditions. These kinds of sensors are typically found in entry-level and enthusiast DSLR cameras, well as in many mirrorless bodies, so they manage to offer comparable image quality. I’m not a video guy, but 4K at 15 frames-per-second isn’t anything to get excited over, and that’s the best this camera can do. I suppose it’s fine if there’s not much movement in the scene and you are using a tripod. The camera can do 1080p at 60 frames-per-second, which is awesome for casual family movies. I think, as far as video goes, the best feature on the XF10 is 4K time lapse at 30 frames-per-second. That’s actually useful if you enjoy making time lapse videos. Motion Panorama> 180°: Vertical: 2160 x 9600 / Horizontal: 9600 x 1440 120°: Vertical: 2160 x 6400 / Horizontal: 6400 x 1440

The out-of-the camera JPEG images are a little soft and ideally benefit from some further sharpeningAt a minimum, the Ricoh GR III will have a very good lens. And ideally it will have a lens equal to the extraordinary lens in the GR I and GR II.

The problem is that I don’t find the XF10 a particularly exciting product when compared to what is already on offer. It doesn’t bring anything truly new to the table except for the Snapshot mode and it doesn’t really fill any holes in the range. Even the affordability argument isn’t particularly strong as you can find the X70 for much less these days due to its age and the fact it has been discontinued. I had an Olympus XZ-1, a great little camera with an excellent and fast Zuiko lens (with an attached EVF) Standard IEEE 802.11b / g / n (standard wireless protocol) Access mode Infrastructure Encryption WEP / WPA / WPA 2 mixed mode Both cameras can record in Full HD up to 60fps but the XF10 is capable of recording for longer (30 vs 14 minutes). The question of whether the misfocusing was user error, on my part, is valid enough. I think it is easy to press the shutter too soon (i.e. during the half press while the camera is still finding its focus). I shall test next time I'm out with it.The XF10’s autofocus (AF) system is pretty fast and reliable for a compact camera. I wouldn’t use it for shooting sport or action, but it’s fast enough to cope with street photography situations. It can help to shoot with the touch-shutter activated as this allows you to set teh focus point and trip the shutter with one tap on the screen. Lens If you think of it as a specialised tool for specific situations, its limitations – no viewfinder, a fixed rear screen, a fixed focal length lens – become less important. Verdict

Did the review camera have the 1.1 firmware installed? This was released last year, with the following release notes, which appears to improve AF and possibly reduces lagginess of the EC dial.... As usual, the XF10 has Fuji’s Film Simulation modes: Provia, Velvia/Vivid, Astia, Classic Chrome Pro Neg Hi, Pro Neg. Std, Monochrome, Monochrome +Ye Filter, Monochrome +R Filter, Monochrome +G Filter and Sepia. Sadly the popular Acros monochrome mode is not available. The Fujifilm XF10 is thin. On top there is a mode dial, function button, on/off switch, exposure dials, etc. This is a photo with the lens extended. That’s pretty much as large as this camera is going to get. You get three dials on the XF10: two mode dials, including one around the shutter, and a command dial on the right for adjusting things like exposure compensation. Thanks to its large sensor and high-quality lens, the XF10 is a very capable compact camera. Noise is controlled very well and images have lots of detail. Like the X100 series, the XF10 has a leaf shutter and fantastic built-in fill-flash. The camera seems to balance the exposure and flash perfectly every time, which is just fantastic! This is something that Fujifilm does better than anybody. A side effect of the leaf shutter is that it is nearly silent, making this camera particularly great for street photography. Just be sure to turn off all the artificial noises that the camera is programmed to make. One thing that I don't really understand is why they all make the same 28mm FL for these compact wide angle APS-C cameras. Why not make 20mm equivalent lens for a change? Or maybe 35mm. Or both. I like the 28mm FoV very much, but then why would I buy another 28mm camera if I have one or two already? Is it just to keep the low cost, by not having to develop a completely new lens? I would really want each camera generation to have a slightly different focal length (wide angle of course, 20-35mm eqv. range).

except maybe leica] clean compact nice size in the hand , fantastic in camera editing , beautiful rich files ... If you're looking for a large-sensor compact camera, and you're not married to the idea of a fixed lens (and even if you are), there are other options out there that will likely serve you better than the XF10 - we'll take a look at a few of them below. But, it must be said, none of them will look as good as the XF10 on the shelf or in your hand. type (PROVIA/STANDARD, Velvia/VIVID, ASTIA/SOFT, CLASSIC CHROME, PRO Neg Hi, PRO Neg. Std, MONOCHROME, MONOCHROME+Ye FILTER, MONOCHROME+R FILTER, MONOCHROME+G FILTER, SEPIA) look" to have a classic filmic character , and of course the absurdity of thinking that these have any similarity to a cellphone fileA mode dial on the top of the camera allows you to select the shooting mode. This has automatic shooting modes as well as the enthusiasts’ favourite PASM settings.
