Description

With the windows of this drawing of a bus, we colored them solid blue. If you wanted to, you could make it look like people are sitting in the bus. On the front edge of the bus, there will then be some more rectangle shapes of varying sizes beneath the two windows at the top of this section. This will then lead to a squared section that will look like it is extending inside of the bus interior.

For the smaller hole you made on the left, you can draw a rounded shape from it for the wheel that you’ll be drawing later on.The windows are pretty small, so you would only need to draw some small faces. Despite this, you could still make every face on the bus unique by changing up the facial expressions. We will then add even more detail in the fourth step of the guide, so let’s move on! Step 4 –Now, separate the top and bottom section of the bus Buses will sometimes have pictures or advertisements on the side, so you could put pretty much anything you like there. First, add the base of the bus using your ruler, but be sure to leave some rounded openings for the wheels of the bus. These ones will look similar to the windows on the upper portions, but their sizes and positioning will be slightly different, as seen in the reference picture.

These are the details that we would add, but you should feel free to add any extra details that you would like! Maybe you could draw a logo on the side of the bus or draw a face in each window.

You could do this by removing the color in the windows and then draw some faces. It might be fun to model the faces after you and your friends for one idea! Then, you can add a handle to the door of the bus and then a line beneath it to show the road this bus is driving on. The colors can also make the bus look like it’s something more specific. For example, you could use some bright yellows to make it look like a school bus. As for the wheels, these will be drawn as some rounded shapes with round portions within. With these final elements done, we will finish off this bus with some fun facial details!

If you prefer a more muted, classic look then you could use watercolor paints, colored pencils or crayons for a softer look. Which of your favorite colors and art mediums will you use? 5 Tips To Make Your Bus Drawing Even Better! Finally, you can finish off this bus drawing with some great colors. You can use your colors and art tools for the bus and any extra details you added. Then, using your ruler you can draw a series of small squares in a row for the windows of the bus. Step 4 –Keep adding some smaller details to your bus drawing

Once your learners have coloured and completed all the sheets, you could gather all the sheets and incorporate them into a travel-themed display. What activities work well with this Bus Colouring Sheet? We kept the decorative elements of this bus drawing airly limited, keeping it mainly to colors on the side. This looks really cool, but you could also decorate the bus in other ways! By the end of the guide you’re about to do you’ll be able to draw your own awesome buses with ease! These windows will line along the upper edges of the bus for now, and each one will be a slightly rounded rectangle shape. The steps in this guide will show you how you can create a really fun and interesting portrayal of this useful vehicle. You probably won’t see buses as being boring by the end of these 7 steps!

This will have quite a few details made up of curved and straight lines, and the reference image will guide you for this section. We will be separating the top and bottom sections of the bus in this one, and to do this we will use some straight lines that are close to one another.

In this third step of our guide on how to draw a bus, we will be adding some wheels and windows to your bus. Public transport is an important part of many people’s lives, but there’s not much that’s fun about it. Once those are drawn, you can then use your pen to go over the pencil lines once you’re happy with how it all looks. Or, maybe you could draw some cones of light coming from the headlights. These are a few simple ideas, but there are many other ways you could make the image a bit more dynamic.
