It’s a light scent than I find is best worn for home but it can also wear in a office since it’s not cloying. The new 50ml bottle is fuschia, not white, so at least you can tell if you have a new or old bottle…. I love this perfume because it conjures up nostalgic memories for me, but because I used to wear it often (I had a mini bottle that sadly the cap broke and all the perfume evaporated out) but because, quite simply, it’s Bali in a bottle.

I received this fragrance today following a perfume swap, and oh my gosh, I wanna hug myself when I smell this. The composition continues with thin milky aroma of Thailand rice, and to the gorgeous base which includes woodsy, balsamic, and musky notes, and vanilla. When I stumbled across this refreshed line was so excited as was an absolute favourite until you simply couldn't find it anywhere .

The incense is the one component of this beautiful nutty addicting scent similar to that of Alien Essence Absolue, which is hard to find nowadays and also contains incense - so my nose didnt trick me when I made that connection.

Hypnotic Poison is better in my opinion but I can see now why I loved Kenzo Amour so much when I first sniffed it. It almost seems to be there to soften the sweetness, reel it in, but instead it makes the scent more sickly.

Edit - I've now used up my travel size and immediately bought a full bottle, even though I hate the bottle. After wearing this a few days, and trying to convince myself I like this perfume, here's what I have to say.

The heliotrope (and frangipani/cherry blossom) here must be the reason Im getting these Pour Femme vibes at the drydown, but when I stick my nose to my skin, I'm always smelling this alluring nutty scent even after 1 hour. A winter-fall perfume by all means, and silage is just how i want it, doesnt fill the room, doesnt leave a trail behind. I think the play dough type vanilla in Amour could work on some people (same people who wear other Dior perfumes that have that note) but not on me.I also get the delicate rice note that people mentioned, perhaps that is what is giving it that ‘milky’ impression - rice milk.
