I've heard my mates Actone may times direct into the PA without noise and the same with a recording session. ammoon’s Mini Guitar Effect Pedal (Obsessiver Overdrive) comes in a small, durable zinc-aluminium alloy body. I can't think of ever having thrown away an effects pedal, guitar or amp - I've sold them, given them away, or they are sitting on a shelf waiting to be used even if very infrequently. It consists of Tone, Volume, and Drive knobs that let you adjust the output volume, dial in the gain, and get the perfect tonal balance.

Re: Using a DI -- I had never thought of that as a tone shaper; only used it as intended to feed a balanced signal to a board. What I can say though is that through an amp the Wampler Thirty Something does a great job of putting the AC 30/15 tones and the tone controls are like those found on AC 30 Top Boost amps and the bass and treble and top cut work exactly like they should and do provide the nasal burns type sound when the bass is up full and the treble on to where it starts to bite. Tried the ACtone when they first came out and found it to be a bit noisy and tone didn't sound like a Vox to me, I thought it was a pretty non-descript amp sound. Just a bad practice to use the consumer either by playing on their weekness( no money) or someone else's name. Back to the matter at hand - I am gonna play with this thing another day or two, and then I'll post a video for ya'll to peep. The center lug of the SPDT switch goes to the point you were asking for, closest to the volume pot : this is the one connected to the non-grounded end of the pot.

Guitar Guitar Limited trading as guitarguitar acts as a credit broker not a lender and is Authorised and Regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority, firm registration number 742103. Once upon a time I never imagined I'd say this, but it's so close to an AC30 and there's such a wide variety of tones available that I don't miss the amp at all. I had two of these for stereo use - amazing - but they need something like the DG Stomp in front of them to shape the sound - no good on their own because it's just a powered speaker for guitar use. Disclaimer : This is an attempt to recreate my previous posts in the "Character Series" thread that were lost in the server move. As such the Wampler Thirty does a great job of providing the AC 30 sound through an amp and the tone controls are more intuitive then the AC Tone pedal by Joyo. However I have used it a fair number of times on gigs and the sound has been great and the noise level non-existent. In terms of construction the JF-13 is made from durable aluminium and has a incredibly sturdy design. It's more of an amp simulator which is great at producing those distinctive Vox AC30 amp style tones. Most purchases from business sellers are protected by the Consumer Contract Regulations 2013 which give you the right to cancel the purchase within 14 days after the day you receive the item.

If Tech-21 feels that this product violates their intellectual property rights they have every right to bring suit against Joyo. I have a Tech 21 "liverpool" pedal, this is the original the pedal the Joyo is based on, this is my preference to most software amp sims, but Positive Grid Amp comes pretty close. Compared to the Joyo amp-in-a-box pedals a POD sacrifices a tiny bit of of the Joyo's sound quality (maybe - depends on your taste) and most of its simplicity for a huge amount of flexibility. Yeah it's been out a few years, just doesn't get as much attention as the 44 Magnum, maybe since the 5mm is more geared towards home players and not ideal for playing with a band compared to the 44 Magnum.Edit: I did throw away my 1980ish Ovation Matrix after it served as a guitar for 15+ years and another 20 as a flower planter in my yard - but it did not have electronics. While the Joyo is a good pedal, one easy way to improve it is to run the output into an active DI, then whatever stage snake/amp/mixer you're using.

I can see both sides of this'n and would hate to have to have been the person to render a decision in this matter. In fact, if they don't protect their IP rights they could lose claim to them altogether, so you can bet that if this is indeed a copycat pedal that Joyo is making, Tech-21 has already investigated and made a determination of whether or not to sue for infringement, based upon the probability of being able to prevail. I did keep the Drive at 10 o/c and Volume at 12 o/c though as the PA was too big for the Venue anyway. I would love to get that old vox sound, like I said in my previous comment I tried the Tech 21 Liverpool and felt let down by it.
