Bucciarati's right-hand man with erratic in mood that is reflected in his Stand Purple Haze, which indiscriminately releases a flesh-eating virus that rapidly friends and enemies alike. Because of Purple Haze's dangerous ability, Fugo tends to avoid using it until he runs out of other options in a fight. Pannacotta left the group when they resolve to oppose the boss. you would assume that this novel was simply an expansion of the lore we already knew, diving into the life of Jorge Joestar, husband of Lisa Lisa and father of Joseph. A story that took place between Parts 1 and 2 and what would no doubt be a relatively charming side-story of a WWI fighter pilot, plus the eventual doom we knew he would meet.

Araki, Hirohiko (2015) [2013]. "Chapter 16: Youth with Dio Part 5". JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Part 1—Phantom Blood. Vol.2. Translated by Galloway, Evan. San Francisco: Viz Media. pp.83–102. ISBN 978-1421578804. The themes of Phantom Blood were described by Araki as "being alive" [33] and "an affirmation that humanity is wonderful". He explained the latter as a description for humanity's ability to grow and overcome hardships through one's strength and spirit; this is a recurring theme that has been used in all following parts of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, portrayed through people succeeding in fights through their own actions, without relying on machines or gods. [29] This theme, along with the passing of the torch, was influenced by Araki's grandfather's death near the start of the serialization, and his thoughts about how people leave parts of themselves behind for the next generation when they die. [34] To celebrate the series' anniversary, a video game adaptation was released in 2006 by Bandai for the PlayStation 2, and a Phantom Blood anime film adaptation, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure: Phantom Blood, was produced by A.P.P.P. and released in Japanese theaters in 2007. [55] [56] The film has never been released on home video. [57] The owarai duo Speedwagon ( Jun Itoda and Kazuhiro Ozawa), who took their name from the Phantom Blood character, make cameo appearances in the film as Dario Brando and Wang Chen. [58] Phantom Blood was again adapted into anime in 2012, as part of the first season of David Production's JoJo's Bizarre Adventure TV anime series. [59] Volumes [ edit ] Original volumization [ edit ] No.A high-schooler who became friends with Jotaro whose Stand is Hierophant Green. He was once under the control of DIO, but joins the fight against him and dies during the final battle. After receiving a letter from a dying Dario, George honors his "debt" by allowing Dario's son Dio Brando to live at the Joestar Mansion and accepts him unconditionally as a member of the family. During Dio's stay, George is easily deceived by Dio's superior manners and intelligence, which causes him to berate his own son Jonathan several times.

A young boy who lives in the prison Jolyne is imprisoned in. He ultimately kills Pucci at the end. His stand is called Burning Down the House. A member of Bucciarati’s group who is 17-year-old dropout with a 3rd Grade-level education. His Stand Aerosmith is a mini airplane that hones on a target’s carbon emission. There are also TWO Jorge Joestars, of different universes and a different lineage, one in a pre-Part 2 setting and another in an AU Morioh/Part 4 setting. The chapters alternate between their perspectives.Joseph and Caesar's Hamon coach, revealed to be the former's mother Elizabeth Joestar who was saved by Erina on the day that Jonathan died. Elizabeth was raised by the Hamon master Straizo and eventually married George Joestar II. But she avenged her husband's death by one of Dio's surviving zombies who infiltrated the Royal Airforce, Elizabeth was forced to go into hiding in Italy under an alias while becoming the current guardian of the Red Stone of Aja.

Dying Moment of Awesome: After Dio mortally wounds him, he saves the lives of his wife, unborn son, and the baby his wife is carrying from Dio, who he manages to trap under the sea for 100 years. In doing so, he ensures the Joestar bloodline will always be there to fight evil and protect the world. Araki, Hirohiko (2015) [2013]. "Chapter 12: Youth with Dio Part 1". Now I have given it an 8 for a few reasons. Firstly, while there’s technically no plot holes, the universe reason there are no plot holes is unsatisfying now and again. Secondly, I just feel like the story starts to fall apart towards the ending. It just feels oddly sudden and rushed. It’s as if Araki broke into Maijo’s office and begged him to stop writing. You know what, I’m just gonna imagine that is what happened.

Badass Adorable: He's a well-mannered, sincere, sweet-tempered, and kind-hearted Boy Next Door during his childhood years who also happens to be skilled in boxing. Natalie (in Japanese). For example, apparently some people think there’s a part where Pucci gets pregnant? Yeah, that didn’t happen. Maybe the fan translator just cut every sentence referencing that little tidbit, but somehow I doubt it. Cain and Abel: Since Dio is his adopted brother, Jonathan is the good-hearted, selfless Abel to Dio's cold-hearted, greedy Cain. The rivalry between the two and Dio's desire to inherit the Joestar fortune instead of Jonathan leads to Dio attempting to stab JoJo and use his blood to activate the Stone Mask. Later Dio ends up killing Jonathan and taking his body for his own, paralleling Cain's murder of Abel. a b c Araki, Hirohiko (2015) [2014]. "Chapter 41: Fire and Ice, Jonathan and Dio Part 3". Badass Normal: Before getting his Hamon abilities, he's a strong fighter. In fact, he hands vampirized Dio a defeat despite not knowing Hamon at the time. He's the only main JoJo to never get a Stand either note at least not while he's alive, he does posthumously get one through Dio using his body in Stardust Crusaders, and in the non-canon Jorge Joestar, he gets a clairvoyant stand called The Passion, although that wasn't strictly him anymore so the point still stands, making him the most "normal" fighter of them all. He's also without a doubt the biggest physical fighter of all the main series JoJo's. A baby who can turn invisible with her Stand, Achtung Baby. Because her mother was never found, Joseph adopted her later on. Jorge is a witty individual with a fastidious personality trait. As a result, his room is very clean and he's solved a number of cases as a private detective. He is a bit of a narcissist, often referring to himself as a great detective and having that listed as his title on his business card. Jorge gets caught up in details, and if details don't add up right then he gets agitated and attempts to search for a better way to solve his problems. [1] Green, Scott (2017-01-09). Now that sounds like a lotta work. So perhaps just screw it and start with Jorge. The summaries are written by someone who started with Jorge anyway, so you might as well. And as I said, it’s still pretty coherent if you only have Jojo knowledge. A prisoner who becomes allies with Jolyne and the gang, and is also Pucci's twin. His stand also has the same name as him, Weather Report.
