PJ O'Reilly of Nintendo Life summarized: "Let's Sing Queen is a straight-up, no-frills entry in the series that throws you into the legendary super group’s awesome back-catalogue of hits across the same selection of modes you'll be accustomed to from previous titles in the series. Perform alone or grab a friend for a duet or friendly vocal challenge in both online and offline game modes. It includes tracks from Avril Lavigne, Ed Sheeran, Jason Derulo, Billie Eilish, Lil Nas X, Rita Ora, Charlie Puth.

But while the tracklist is new, the same can’t be said for the game’s modes – which are identical to the 2022 edition we reviewed last year. This is not because I expected Let’s Sing Country to be a bad game, but rather because I feel that modern radio-pop country is a blight on our civilization. Let’s Sing begins playing a washed-out copy of the music video, with a strange little hillbilly-stereotype avatar superimposed off to the left, gobbling into a microphone and making no attempt to lip-sync to the song. The biggest area of improvement lies in the evolution of the franchise as a platform that can give players more content and convenience, and the game more lasting appeal. That said, I did enjoy the cool music videos, eight player gameplay, the bright and colorful presentation, and the super fun 8-player party mode. You never really feel like you are accomplishing anything as you unlock a bunch of cosmetics you rarely see. If you don’t know how to sing the chorus to Ace of Base’s “The Sign”, then you’re a pathological liar.

If these screenshots all look alike, its because Let’s Sing Country is literally just music videos with the lyrics scrolling across the screen. King we see some familiar faces – Wil Wheaton and River Phoenix make an appearance, as well as a few clips from the film by the same name.

I’d have appreciated a bit more genre variety, but I was impressed by the technology powering Let’s Sing 2024, as well as the fact it has a career mode. There’s not much difference between We Sing Pop and Let’s Sing 2018 when is comes to the songs, in fact there are a few tracks that crossover between both games – Clean Bandit’s Rockabye, Nico and Vinz’s Am I Wrong, Coldplay’s Hymn For the Weekend and Ellie Goudling’s Burn – that really show how alike both games are. Gavin Lane of Nintendo Life gave the game eight out of ten and summarized: "We'd wager even non-aficionados will be drawn in by the sheer strength of this most familiar and indestructible of pop music songbooks, and the variety of modes here, machine-tooled over many years of iteration and repetition for the long-running Let's Sing series, offer enough variety to engage just about anyone who's ever tapped their foot to any of these tracks. Experience the "Let's Party" mode with up to eight singers or climb to the top of the worldwide online leaderboards.

Truth be told, it’s hard to tell as it just feels like you are singing solo – you’ll want to actually bring a friend to the party.

Ultimately, Let’s Sing 2018has more of a game mechanic about it: you level up through singing songs and breaking records, etc. Though to be fair, once you’re into the track, singing along to the lyrics at the right pitch there’s little between either game. Let's Sing Queen received "generally positive" reviews, according to review aggregator Metacritic for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions.

As for the rest, there’s little else that needs to be assessed but the songs in the package, and that’s a finicky thing. In addition to their annual releases, there have also been artist-specific ones, like the new ABBA release, but the yearly editions provide a lot more diversity in their tracklists. And although those are both great songs from a time gone by, we’re not sure that Eiffel 65’s “Blue (Da Ba Dee)” and O-Zone’s “Dragostea Din Tei” qualify as the same – even though there’s a fun factor to them and you can finally see what they were singing besides “numa numa”.

It ended up working way better than I could have predicted, though I’m pretty sure using a mic would have still been the optimal way to play this game.
