Description

Cherub agents are kids ages 10-17 and are trained to be spies to infiltrate criminal organizations that have eluded the M15 for years. The reason? Adults never suspect that kids are spying on them.

I decided to read this book because it was all in the rage, everyone was reading it last year. Well, i must sound like an old guy talking about something that was cool from last year but the book hasn't changed, its still as awesome as it had ever been.Overall, this book was intriguing. It is a reminder of the oppression experienced by many legal immigrants to our country as well as the resistance of people who cannot accept change, diversity, acceptance, appreciation for fellow human beings because of preconceived notion or family bigotry.

A female classmate comments on Mum’s weight one too many times, and James pushes her against the wall. Her face catches on a nail, leaving a bloody gash. James runs from the school and wanders around to think. When he finally goes home, he sees Mum’s answering machine is full. She and Ron are drunk, and she hasn’t heard the school’s messages. a b c Moore, Kasey (September 24, 2022). " 'The Recruit' Noah Centineo Netflix Series: Everything We Know So Far". This socially complex police procedural, with its issues that remain all too relevant today, deserves a wide audience.” — Publishers Weekly (starred review) I’m that kind of person that only read one book at a time, but with this one I thought that I should read another book between, because this one was a tough read. But I decided that taking a break after a couple of chapters would help me go through it, and it did, but there were moments that I thought about quitting because the main emotion that this book triggered was rage, serious rage, scary rage, because everything sounded so real, so believable and current.Set in California in the late 1980s, the story is about 'an interstate conspiracy of hate to terrorize and kill minorities.' The story shows that the roots of such racism began shortly after the Vietnam War and found legitimacy under Donald Trump's political agenda unfortunately. Jacob Clay is a young man who finds himself slowly immersed in a violent teen-aged white supremacist group. Impressionable, and already experimenting with violence on his own, Jacob allows himself to be groomed by the group’s leader, Ian Rowan. He must shed blood to gain full acceptance into the group and be rewarded with the coveted, red-laced boots. The victim he chooses will shatter a family but will ultimately pull these storylines together with devastating results as Ben, Natasha & Vanek work to find those responsible once and for all. Let's talk about the characters/ships now. James is the main character, who starts off as a bully and ends up being a very kind and loyal friend. It will be a lie to say I didn't like him, although at first I really despised his behavior. He never stops fighting, is brave and wants to protect his sister. BookBrowse Review

I decided to read this book because a lot of the people in my class had suggested it for their book speech. I thought it was a genre I liked and had a good plot, so I started reading the book.

It is books like this that makes me wish that Goodreads gave you the choice to put your stars in negative. It's that bad. Seriously, I have cousins between 5 and 10 years old who could write a more enthralling story. I read this book on the insistance of a friend. I had to read the first to cherub books and he had to read Eragon. I got the worse deal. By far.

Beyond the Book

After basic training, James is given a mission alongside Amy. The two pose as siblings visiting their aunt at a hippie camp called Fort Harmony. The government suspects some of the hippies are working with an extremist group called Help Earth. A nearby resort is planning a conference that police fear Help Earth may target. Amy and James befriend the other children at Fort Harmony and search for information. James falls for a girl named Joanna who sometimes visits Fort Harmony. After debating whether to give this one or two stars, I decided on two. I didn't necessary enjoy the book, but I didn't not like it either.
