Note several things about this new man. First, while Paul is a p plying it individually here, it also has a corporate aspect. He used the phrase, “new man,” in 2:15 to describe the church as the new creation of Jew and Gentile in Christ. Whereas the old man lived for self, the new man considers others ahead of self. Whereas the old man was full of racial prejudice and pride, the new man erases those distinctions and views others in the body equally as brothers in Christ. This corporate aspect of the new man implies that if you are not involved with a local church, where you are being built together with other believers, then you do not understand a major part of the new way in which you are supposed to live.

A dream board is a great way for you to start believing in your own dreams again. Seeing your dreams every day on a dream board brings them life. It will also act as a daily reminder to refocus your energy and direct it toward what you really want to achieve. 3. Set Goals To put it another way, you may get stressed and tired of trying all the time. There may be voices in your head that say things like, "you'll never change,""I'll do it later," and "what's the point anyway?" And there may be people in your life who try to influence you to stay the same. In other words, changing your life means making some tough decisions. So, how badly do you want to change your life? And what are you willing to do – and to give up – to make it happen?Look, many people instinctively won't like it when you start to make changes in your life – but it doesn't mean they're bad people. Remember, change is scary, uncomfortable, and unnerving. In his book, The Power of Habit, Charles Duhigg suggests that exercise is a powerful keystone habit:

In the first part of this book, we saw that God is light [truth] and that we must walk in the light to have life. In this last part of the book, John is laying out what it means for God to be “Life” to us. In the middle of the book, John has spoken a lot about love and obedience, but now he is going to combine the idea of faith and its necessity in our life. Refusal of the Call: You feel scared and full of doubts, so you stay where you are until you get another call that you cannot ignore. How do I change my life?” If you’re asking this question, remember that the one constant thing in our life is change. The more we resist it, the tougher our life becomes. Instead of avoiding it, ask how you can change your life to work with the changes happening around you. On a cellular level, we are all constantly undergoing natural evolutionary changes without being aware of them. It is also possible for us to transform spontaneously. However, the most powerful and profound transformation comes from within. What Is Personal Transformation?

What’s included

When working out how to change your life, it’s often easier to start by determining what you don't want before exploring what you do want. Use your bad experiences to help others. Share your story to prevent other people from making the same mistakes.

Also, focus on the process, not the results. Here's what I mean: If you want to climb Mount Everest and all you think about is summiting, you'll never make it. Forget about summiting and focus on the training, preparation, and climbing that can add up to years of work. I like to think of the new life God gives us as moving Jesus to a place of superior desirability . Through regeneration, we are able to see that Jesus is better than the desires of the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of life. He gives us, quite literally: Bill Gates, the co-founder of Microsoft, said, "Most people overestimate what they can do in one year and underestimate what they can do in ten years." In other words, Gates isn't thinking in days, weeks, months, or even years – he's thinking in decades. For example, you could join an online community committed to achieving the same change that you want to make, this way you can access additional support when you need it. You could also create a vision board to remind you of what you're working towards. Ultimately, you have the best chance of changing yourself—and getting the life you want. While it isn’t easy to change your life, making changes to aspects you control gives you the best chance to get the life you want. After all, you get only one, so you might as well put in the effort to make it the one you want. Summary: How to Change Your Life for the BetterThis is all about you choosing to step out of your comfort zone and see limitations from a different perspective. Once you decide to change your life come hell or high water, suddenly, almost anything is possible. Step 2. Learn to Embrace Discomfort What is that new faith? It is believing that Jesus is from God, but he expounds on that in verses 6-10. Let’s read: Three verses but 5 times the world “Love” is used. Keeping with the theme, not only of our series of study, but the book of 1 John, we see John saying that our faith produces: Once you know what is important in your life and what your dream life looks like in the long run, you need to take action and set your long-term, medium, and short-term goals. Acting on these goals will enable you to achieve your dreams and change your life.

Moreover, evidence of transformation within us is seen in the way we increasingly reflect the likeness and glory of Christ (2 Corinthians 3:18). For as the apostle Paul said, “You, however, are controlled not by the sinful nature but by the Spirit, if the Spirit of God lives in you. And if anyone does not have the Spirit of Christ, he does not belong to Christ” (Romans 8:9). To be considered as children of God, we must be led by the Spirit of God. And it is through the power of God’s Spirit that Christ lives within us. The transformed life mirrors the attitude of the apostle Paul: “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me” (Galatians 2:20). When we were children, we would daydream all the time and think of how to change our lives. We were skilled at dreaming and visualizing what we would be when we grew up. We believed that anything was possible.Forgiveness is not always easy, but it is necessary for a healthy relationship with God and others. When we hold onto bitterness and resentment, it only hurts us in the end. When we forgive, we release the other person from the debt they owe us, and we free ourselves from the burden of unforgiveness. Forgiveness is a choice we make, not a feeling we wait for. When we forgive, we reflect the love and grace of God. 7. A Spirit of Service According to Ken Wilber, the author of integral theory and trainer of Mindvalley’s Integral Life Quest, the ultimate goal of human transformation is reaching the highest state of consciousness. It’s also known as enlightenment, awakening, satori, metamorphosis, moksha, and the Great Liberation. Today we are going to talk about the essential elements of a transformed life. Many organizations today have this as their motto: banks, universities and even churches. But the very business of God is turning your life into something new. 2 Corinthians 5:17, says, “Therefore if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creature; the old things passed away; behold, new things have come.” So Paul’s point (in 4:20-21) is that the changed life stems from the transformation that God works in us through the gospel. When we meet Jesus Christ personally through faith, we are changed people! But, how does the process continue? Paul goes on (4:22-24) to explain these changes with three infinitives (in Greek): “lay aside”; “be renewed”; and, “put on.”
