I enjoy reading, is fresh and funny, i think it can't be compare with Harry Potter, it's no the same premise and public, this book for me it's a little more like Riverdale with magic. So I can see why it’s been likened to the adult Harry Potter, but honestly until reviews were read, I didn’t even think about HP. However the book does have some positive elements (hence the three star rating); it is well written, there are a few well crafted action sequences and the story had a couple of original ideas around how magic might be used in a magical society.

But she has no clue where she got these freakish powers because she spent her childhood jumping from home to home in the foster system, and her father left her with nothing more than a cryptic note. It took my a while to start reading the fever series, the description of them just didn’t sound like something I would be into.
