Methylisothiazolinone (MI) is a preservative that' super efficient against bacteria at surprisingly low concentrations. I've been dyeing my hair for almost nine years in an attempt to keep my natural brassy red highlights from washing out my complexion.

Probably that’s why citric acid is usually not used as an exfoliant but more as a helper ingredient in small amounts to adjust the pH of a formulation. They're less harsh on hair in general and usually do a fine job cleaning my hair and preserving color. I've used many color treated shampoos and have had great experiences with most of them, but none have come close to the L'Oreal EverPure shampoos. Please refer to the ingredient list on your product package for the most up to date list of ingredients to ensure it is suitable to your personal use.I have only tried the shampoo and conditioner in the new Loreal Everpure line, but I LOVE both of them. They say that blondes have more fun, but it turns out those lightened strands require special care, too. That’s right, you can put an end to spending time and effort styling your strands, only to find that your ‘do has become unruly (thanks to frizz) the moment you step outside. I have to use conditioner no matter what shampoo I use as my hair is dry and has been highlighted and I use heated styling tools a lot.

With these shampoos and conditioners, you can breathe easy knowing they’re color safe and pick your match based on whether you’re dealing with frizz, damage, thin hair, dryness, or brassy hair. ca/-/media/project/loreal/brand-sites/oap/americas/ca/articles/blog/hair_care/how-to-care-for-your-hair-colour.All in all, limonene has some pros and cons, but - especially if your skin is sensitive - the cons probably outweigh the pros. Currently using L'Oreal everpure volume (purple cap) because my hair is very fine and flat looking and it helps with that. By my third was my hair looked very unhealthy and dry, my scalp hurts so much and is very irritated and i have dandruff (which i’ve never had) This product has damaged my hair severely and i’ve lost a lot of hair.

I've dyed my hair so much and when unable to find the brand I usually used, I went to this one because I was attracted by the Sulfate free on the label. The problem with it though is that it can also sensitize and irritate the skin quite easily when it comes in leave-on formulas. Has to be combined with some other nice preservatives, like potassium sorbate to be broad spectrum enough.

I dislike the conditioner more than the shampoo since it feels like my hair is weighted down if I use the conditioner. Luxurious lather, smells good, and leaves my hair softer and shinier than with my standard shampoos. Ok guys, I know my hair doesn't sound healthy, but I don't heat style it, I don't use lots of products and I dyed my hair ONCE at a salon that used natural products, and that was back in 2010.
