The Base Kydex color shows through where there is no image: My only suggestion, would be to potentially add some sort of rubberized surface behind the tightening screw clamps to have a little more grab and require less torque. I also heated my kydex up and bent it inwards very slightly and it improved the rigidity a little bit as well. But neither were needed for proper function. I know your probably still prototyping this for a custom request but I would be ecstatic if you were eventually able to source proper tightening knobs and injection mold the adapter pieces.
