These insurance polices are designed to meet the demands and needs of those who wish to insure their item, for example, digital camera and/or camera accessories, against breakdown and accidental damage. By taking up this policy, you agree that this product meets your demands and needs. The mount features a special sealing to make the lens an excellent choice in a wide variety of conditions. However from a more critical side - You could also see it as Fujifilm giving up on APS-C and only keeping it relevant as long as they want it to stay relevant to them. The future of Fujifilm is not in APS-C but in the GFX. People are harping on the bokeh because it is so clinically sharp that that is a boring conversation. In focus it’s very sharp.

At Jessops, we know how easy it is to accidentally drop or damage things and then have the inconvenience of finding the cash for a replacement. The L-mount version of the 30mmF1.4 received the basic weather-resistance to bring it into line with the later 16mm and 56mm lenses. Radiant Photo– Radiant Photo superior quality finished photos with perfect color rendition, delivered in record time.Your photos — simply RADIANT.The way they are meant to be. I will start of with this point first as I feel like it isn’t talked about enough with this lens; the look that this lens produces. I think there is a misconception that a lot of bokeh automatically makes a lens good. In my eyes, there’s so much more to it than that though. The first of the series is the standard lens 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, and the second is the wide-angle lens 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary. The third addition is this smallest mid-tele lens in its class, 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary. While retaining the compact, lightweight, and outstanding image quality concepts of the Contemporary line, thanks to SIGMA’s leading-edge technology, this lens provides the amount of bokeh and admirable brightness expected from F1.4 lenses even in the mid-tele range. This addition completes the large aperture series comprised of portable wide-angle, standard, and telephoto lenses.

Sigma 56mm f1.4 DC DN Contemporary Lens Bokeh:

The Sigma 56mm f/1.4 DC DN is pin sharp. It’s unfortunate that web-optimized images really don’t show off just how sharp these images are. Sigma has really managed to get it right with this lens.

French photographer Pierre-Emmanuel Delétrée talks about his impression on the SIGMA 16mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary, 30mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary and 56mm F1.4 DC DN | Contemporary for Nikon Z mount cameras and his life being a photograher. In addition, a Behind the Scenes video of his visit in SIGMA’s Aizu factory is available as well.

No. The Sigma 56mm features a gasket at the mount to protect against moisture and dust, but there is no weather sealing throughout the lens barrel. This means it’s not entirely protected against moisture and dust. However, it is still a high-quality, durable lens well-suited for various shooting conditions.

The bokeh of this lens is the other area where it excels. With a full frame equivalent focal length of 84mm, this is what most consider to be the ideal portrait photography focal length.

Published in: Best Micro Four Thirds Lenses, Best Sony Lenses, Buyer's Guide, Lenses, Sigma lenses, Sony lenses These lenses were obviously better looking than the homely ones that came before. They forced the whole industry to suddenly pay attention to exterior design. Prior to that, only Leica lenses were designed with attractive appearance as a high priority (i.e. good fonts, no made-up markings, respect for proper abbreviations like “m” for metres and the full word “feet” for feet because “ft” is a non-standard (and ugly) abbreviation, etc.).

I’ve owned Sigma lenses before when I used to shoot on Nikon, so I already had a bit of trust that Sigma would deliver another decent lens. The Sigma 56mm is small and light, and although it’s got an excellent build quality, it doesn’t feel as solid as the Fujifilm lenses I’m used to. It also has a matt finish, which doesn’t look as nice at home on the front of my Fuji, but I can accept that, given it’s got the classic finish of a Sigma lens. The boss of Sigma stated in an interview that new lenses will be produced when manufacturing capacity is released by declining demand for existing lenses.I found the focusing, when paired with the Fujifilm X-S10, allowed me to take full advantage of face and eye autofocus. Images had a lovely contrast with good skin tones, especially when paired with the Pro Neg Standard and Pro Neg Hi Film Simulations. I would recommend the combination as an affordable starting point to anyone starting out taking portraits. Sigma 56mm F1.4 DC DN C for Nikon Z Mount SIGMACANON EF-M mount. SIGMA offers a lineup of interchangeable lenses for the Canon EF-M mount digital camera series with APS-C image sens… Anyway, considering the price, Sigma trio is a very good addition to the ecosystem. Definitely better than Viltrox as to IQ. Too bad Sigma doesn't have 23/1.4. Here it's only Fuji and Viltrox/Tokina. Foskito - Folks aren't mad because of Sony in this thread--it's about the implication that Fuji was an afterthought. It's an unfortunate development, stuff like the Sigma 56/1.8 (or even the 18-50/2.8) is still hard to match size-wise on FF, the Samyang 75/1.8 is the only FF short tele that gets close without trading speed; and Sigma's own 90/2.8 is the only one that gets close while giving up speed, ironically I think it would work just as well on APS-C.
