Then the sandalwood comes through more. It does smell pretty cheap, a little reminiscent of an air freshener, but it's not gonna smell expensive for that price. The vanilla is pretty synthetic at start, smells like vanilin sugar, but it does get more creamy with time. Now here comes the challenging part: trying to give you a short solid review of this AMAZING fragrance. If you already own the Replica I'll carefully - cause not 100% - say that I think you could try out the Lattafa without having to fear for a clone in your collection. Whether they took BtF as inspiration or not, they both seem very much their own juice. They just happen to be both of the smoky-woody variety and mostly ideal in the cool & cold weather. As said earlier, my fragrance isn't as it should be yet, but being reintroduced to half its pyramid did jiggle my olfactory memory. The only thing I get now is Oud and other wood, but once the balance is restored Intense Oud gave quite a nice scent on my skin. I remember a strong smoky woody perfume with hints of soft leather and a caramel-like accent that softens the strong oud and deepens the fragrance. I get the first half now and pretty much a double dose of it, since there's no softening touch. I love an oriental frag on a hot summer day, i don't mind the warmth of them at all, so I would consider this to be an all year round fragrance.

The Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud perfume is popular among those who want to make a statement with their scent. It is designed to be long-lasting, so you can enjoy its captivating aroma all day. These are different, although there are similarities with oud, vanilla & woods. However, Aoud Vanille is more complex and has stronger performance, with an oud-ier presence up front. Now you'll smell it when coming within close proximity, but it simply means that longevity is bizarre. It's actually something I'm used to from Oudh containing fragrances where the ingrediënt plays a main role. Woody fragrances usually last longer than any other type of perfume, but woody-oudy ones take the cake. Even when it was created by a chemist and not in nature.

It's a different scene, and it isn't as comforting nor is it as well rendered as By the Fireplace. It is, however, still very interesring in it's own right and there is plenty here to grab your attention and bring your nose into. It also performs better on my skin, so that is nice, but the opening is truly terrible. That campfire was started with lighter fluid, my friends. Do not smell this or be smelled in the first 15 minutes of wearing this. Seriously, it's bad. I almost washed it off and put in on my trade shelf hoping someone else might like it. Just give it a chance though, or consider rubbing it in to tamp out some of those top notes (Gasp), once the initial miasma of lighter fluid and cotton candy calms down it becomes something that is quite enjoyable, if not as breathtaking as By the Fireplace. It only seems to get better as it develops, changing drastically about 3 or 4 hours in.Lattafa serves fragrances with an aspirational taste of international culture. Lattafa aims to offer innovative perfumes with its best fragrances. Lattafa is sure about the quality of its products for men and women. They will keep improving their quality and launching new ranges of products. “After all, a person is not completely dressed until they wear a fragrance.” Lattafa Perfumes produces customised brands of perfumes, body sprays, colognes, and a whole range of fragrances. TOP NOTES Now, when *I* say a fragrance lasts into eternity that's definitely of note. As a rule perfumes never last long on my skin. 30 minutes isn't an exception. When I pass a 3hr mark that's cause for celebration. My skin is of the very dry, perfume eating variety that loves to boost woody, leathery, earthy, spicy and citrusy notes and prefers to ignore sweet, fruity, floral etc (no mature perfume is ever too sweet on me). My only other oud perfumes are Gucci Intense Oud and Versace Oud Noir. I love them both with Gucci being my favourite. I would say both of them are several times better in every way, reflecting the several times higher price. Still though I enjoy the Ameer and shall definitely wear it. Seems reasonably strong but not crazily loud or in your face. I'm legit getting hungry, like when walking through the mall and smelling those candied almonds or fried donuts. 😁 This fragrance from far away hits my nose similarly. Smells like a dessert is cooking in a wood fire. Even the scent feels warm to my nose and there is this uncanny wood smoke aftersmell/nosefeel when I exhale.

That review below was HILARIOUS! 😄 Anyway, Ameer Al Oudh Intense Oud smells to me not similar, but reminds me of the best aspects of my two favorite Lattafa fragrances: Qaa'ed and Khaltaat Al Arabia Royal Blends. In the opening you get the cambodian oud with full strenght, blended with cinnamon and nutmeg. This notes will stay active for the entire longevity of the fragrance. The heart notes serve mainly the purpose of building a bridge for the base notes blending, and the scent become sweeter and smoother then. The drydown is very pleasant with the strong different woods softened by the sweetness of cinnamon and vanilla, and the smoothed by a confortable amber. The notes presented in the pyramid above are spot-on except the Oud...unless that's where the tobacco and dried fruit notes are coming from. Yeah, maybe those Oud notes appear after about 3 and a half hours as a sweet almondy tobacco with dark dried fruits. And oh boy does this develop! Like 15 minutes later I started getting the AMAZING woody sauna notes. It is such a gem! And it gets really close to By The Fireplace! I probably would not tell the difference with those two side by side! So if u can just ignore the opening of this fragrance (it's very ambery strong and something a little weird, reminded me of Bentley Intense lmao) then I 100% recommend atleast trying it. I debated buying this for months. MANY months. Why was I so hesitant? Because of the gender poll here saying its more masculine than feminine. Well, I don't agree. 100% unisex. Whenever you feel like wearing a powerfull Oud fragrance, but want it well behaved and not disturbing your fellow common wearer and lover of citrus scents, you may well elect Ameer Al Oudh as one of your favourites fragrances.

LATTAFA defines lifestyle and offer unforgettable creations through elegant Arabian Oud perfumes for all… Made in U.A.E. Ive often seen many women mention this. I cant imagine a woman wanting to wear this scent. And if she did id think she smelled really bad that day. With all of the beautiful scents to choose from why would a woman want to smell like this? This scent may turn some people on though. There are some who find certain foul scents very seductive and enjoyable. If you are one of those people you must have this. But this is to date my worst blind buy ever. I truly tried to like it but all I get is Granny's Bandaids. this is among the most dramatic fragrances I own , and despite the fact that most of fragrance community consider this is as a (By the fire place clown ) I think it has it's own character and there is a lot going on and is far from being linear. BTW! Layering recommendations: Try this with Zara Rich Warm Addictive or Lattafa's Ana Abiyedh Rouge - they both make it a little more sweet and blend very amazingly together. <3 This fragrance is making me hungry. 🤤 I'm glad I got two bottles of this. One I'm reviewing is a November 2022 batch. The other is from March 2023 and I hope it won't smell different.Top notes are agarwood (oud), cinnamon and nutmeg; middle notes are jasmine and sandalwood; base notes are musk, vanilla, guaiac wood, amber, and cedar. Depicting the strength of this lingering scent, this fragrance main oud note is Oudh from Cambodia which yields earthy and woody smoky notes. Wearability: 7.0 (mainly cold weather and a night scent; you may use it either in outdoors or indoors)
