Description

Essentially, each axis has independent dual-function reverse thrust, so there is an option for going below idle into the reverse thrust/ beta range like on turboprops. For use in an airliner you can choose a configuration with two or four thrust levers, levers for spoiler and flaps. The annunciator panel with 14 signal lights indicate the most important status and warning messages of the board systems. I say 'a few times' because each repair seems to last only a month or so before another (original) wire breaks requiring yet another repair.

NOTE: When using the Bravo throttle quadrant with Xbox (via the XPC Hub), the lights and annunciator panel will not work. I have tried commercially available 737 throttle knobs, but they turned out to be a vey wobbly affair. Finally, an annunciator panel with 14 warning lights displays the status of critical systems such as master warning/caution, engine fire, vacuum, fuel, hydraulics, oil pressure and so on.The autopilot panel and various switches are also perfectly implemented in the simulator, which isn’t necessarily a standard on the market. The product is compatible with airplanes that allow for throttle detent calibration, but the buttons on the product are not functional.

Their packaging boasts a modern, simple design that I appreciate and is well-designed, both inside and outside the box. CAUTION: It is "plug and play" in the fact that it doesn't require drivers and it is recognized by MSFS202 - BUT it needs FSUIPC (paid), SPAD. When flying an aircraft with a yoke, I use the Honeycomb Alpha and Bravo and when flying an aircraft with a stick, I use the Warthog HOTAS. The product also ships with what I can only describe as the best mounting options I have ever come across and two sets of levers to accommodate various aircraft/engine configurations.

The Bravo is ‘Plug and Play’ and connects to the PC via a single USB C cable so there is no power supply necessary. I received an excellent service from Electronic Empire who sent out the product promptly and I received it the very next day. I use my Hotas throttle as a right handed quandrant, the Off position of the Thrust levers became the reversers and it is also a button or a switch. After downloading and installing the drivers in X-Plane, setting the Bravo up was very straightforward.
