As such, I’m pleased to report that HBO has done Game of Thrones proud on Ultra HD. The image is improved, the sound is improved, and this is the most complete and comprehensive collection of extras to date. If you’re a fan of the show and you’ve made the leap to 4K, this set is a fine and worthy upgrade. It’s not cheap, so get it on sale if you can.
