Everyone wants to take the big action and get big results now immediately with zero planning and support. This didn’t work for me, I don’t think I will ever be a morning person, but I know a lot of people who swear by it.

You may not like spending long amounts of time in your inbox, but you probably think about checking it pretty often.

I spend around 10–15 minutes every night before going to bed to plan out what I need to do the following day. I had tried a technique in the past where I built a backlog on a Kanban board app like Trello or Jira and then ported over tasks for the day to my to-do app. What gets measured gets managed and you might get people measuring face time at the expensive of work that actually matters. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. Now the reason I’ve got you to drop the word “reading” in the comments before you continued on is because that one simple action actually triggers something in your mind to help you succeed.And anyone who thinks otherwise is as deluded as one of my Macro-Economics professors who thought Rational Expectation theorists make sense! Have you noticed people who only talk about dreams and hopes, and what they'll one day achieve, while they're still stuck at their jobs? Speaking of taking baths, my final productivity approach is to treat non-work time just as seriously as I treat work time.
