Had a lovely cosy time at cobbley cottage and its the first time I've ever slept on the first night as the bed was so comfortable. There are no negatives about the cottage. Ideal place to stay if wanting to visit most of the beaches in North Norfolk. The lychgate is a 20th-century memorial to James Cory, rector of Kettlestone for 68 years until his death in 1864, who is buried in the churchyard. He began as rector in 1796, and hence was preaching during the French Revolution, Trafalgar and Waterloo, the Crimean War and the Indian Mutiny.

READ NEXT: Our favourite rapid-boil, quiet and smart kettles How to remove limescale from your kettle Offering a wonderful relaxing base for 2 people, the cottage offers easy access to the scenic coastline, the lovely villages of Little Walsingham, Burnham Market, Blakeney, and Wells next the Sea. With excellent walking and cycling from the door, it offers easy access to miles of unspoilt coastline, internationally important nature reserves and amazing wildlife, hundreds of picturesque villages, grand stately homes and the lovely Holkham Estate and its miles of sandy beaches. The garden has a sunny patio area outside the kitchen with a table to eat or have a drink weather permitting White vinegar can be used for cleaning a wide range of non-porous surfaces, including many kitchen worktops and sinks (but not if they’re made from wood, stone, cast iron, or stainless steel), glass, shower screens, and limescale-caked kettles. The formula is simple: without straying outside the minimum or maximum fill lines, top up the kettle to the height of the limescale with equal parts water and white vinegar. Boil the kettle, then allow it to cool before pouring away the contents and rinsing it to avoid any aftertaste. Each year the smaller authority prepares an Annual Governance and Accountability Return (AGAR). The AGAR has been published with this notice. It will not be reviewed by the appointed auditor, since the smaller authority has certified itself as exempt from the appointed auditor’s review.

That said, you should still get into the habit of throwing out stale water. Only boil as much water as you need – you’ll save money by not running the kettle for longer than is necessary, and will minimise limescale build-up by not exposing the element to large quantities of water-based minerals – and avoid reboiling water whenever possible. Bicarbonate of soda can also remove limescale if you first use it to create a mildly abrasive gloop. The brains behind WD-40 recommend mixing three tablespoons of bicarbonate of soda with one tablespoon of water: “The mixture should be a little pasty. Then, apply it to the stain to be treated and allow it to dry. With a brush, rub the treated area until removed.” Once all of the limescale is gone, fill your kettle up with clean water, boil it and empty it again. Naturally, only put your hands inside or on the kettle if it is absolutely cold. We also recommend using a toothbrush to clean around and as far under the element as possible.

A rather lovely cottage from where we could make some new memories. Comfortable and cosy, with very generous hosts. If you’d rather not scrub, you can add a teaspoon of bicarbonate of soda to 500ml of water and boil several times, allowing it to cool between each boiling. Then empty and rinse thoroughly with cold water. Owned and completely renovated by the owners of Norfolk Interior design company, Rooms with a View, this 200 year old cottage offers a cosy lounge, separate snug, luxury kitchen, boot room and one large luxury bedroom upstairs with a superking-sized bed and Egyptian cotton sheets. The adjoining bathroom has been lovingly renovated to the highest standards with full sized bath, separate walk in shower and pampering area.
