The only thing this book is missing in my opinion is some sort of "family tree" showing in graphic form the interconnectivity of the "enterprises" involved. In the final chapters in which her case is discussed, I can only conclude that she got paid to keep her mouth shut and go away. I understand the networks in question are secretive and limited information is available but given the size of the investigation, further insight or even speculation about the real handlers of Jeffrey Epstein and the Maxwell family is needed. Hopefully, a university professor or two will read it - and will rethink the way they teach History and Political Science. I'm a big fan of Whitney Webb and I enjoy following her work on Unlimited Hangout and her podcast interviews. If you wish to stop the march towards one world globalisation, the domination of the many by the few, read this book - after you have read volume one.Another thought: Her parents - yes, her parents, drove this minor child voluntarily EVERY DAY, FOR YEARS, to Epstein's residence where she had to perform all kinds of lurid acts on Epstein, Maxwell, and their powerful victims of blackmail and distortion. I have read this book which is a bit more detailed than I would like, however she has done all the work for you with bibliography and notes at the end of each chapter. I knew about Whitney from her podcast unlimited hangout and appearances on other shows, I honestly think she's one of the best journalists in the world. This story and this rare peek behind the facade of politics we see in the news makes me really miss good journalism. This book is fascinating and creepy, the spyware developed by the Israelis in the 80s and sold to US intelligence all the connections to various individuals like Prince Andrew, Bill Clinton, Bill Gates. Another dizzying read with so many interrelationships among every facet of business up to the highest levels of government around the world, and how Epstein and (more than one) Maxwell seemed to be everywhere - sort of like Where is Waldo.This was one of the weirder books I’ve read only because it’s so interesting but hard to read at the same time because it’s so information dense and I’m a dummy, so I had to take a break constantly. Eventually she would find Epstein who operated as a surrogate handler/father figure and she would in turn control others referring to their very young victims as 'trash , totally worthless. Why were legal officials told that Epstein “belonged to intelligence” and to back off during his first arrest in the mid-2000s?

I have been around for most of the period covered by this book and it's amazing how much of the puzzle regarding so many events has been put together. Wow, that's probably the hardest book I've ever read, extremely dense with so many names, companies, banks and corporations to try and remember, I struggle with remembering names at the best of times.

If it wasn't for a group of vigilante and courageous journalists, nothing of this magnitude will ever be exposed. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. I personally have no problem with this - to me, the truth is more important - but if you're the type of person who responds reflexively when bad things are said about conservative Republicans, then you'll have some issues with this book.
