The atom-style set is super lightweight and small enough to travel in the overhead cargo of airplanes. Although I am already used to some standards when it comes to Maclaren strollers (I own a [[maclaren-techno-xlr|Maclaren Techno XLR umbrella stroller]] as a spare at our grandma's), I was nevertheless positively surprised with the quality finish and materials. We are an expertly-curated baby and kid’s marketplace for parents that want the best for their children. I need to underline the softly padded seat liner, which is even reversible (one side breathable, the other for colder weather).

It was typical that the days he wanted to walk we had pushed around an empty pram, and the days he demanded to be carried/pushed we didn't bother bringing it with us, because, effort! The chassis (not the wheels, which will wear down naturally over time) comes with a life-long warranty. Read more about the condition For parts or not working: An item that does not function as intended or is not fully operational. We reckon on our real-life adventures as parents, to continuously set and elevate the standards for protection and performance.

The style set comprises the stroller along with a reversible seat liner, carry strap, harness padding, carry bag (to carry the stroller on your shoulder as well as to protect the stroller while transporting it), handlebar cover, and rain cover. The one-piece - single handlebar is positioned slightly higher (my measurement is 103 cm from the ground) - even taller parents can enjoy a comfortable drive. The Atom comes with all the usual Maclaren benefits such as lifetime warranty, fully washable fabrics, reflective elements, sturdy wheels with suspension, quality 5-points safety belts and a wide range of accessories included in the bundle. When Theodore is at his Grandparents for the day they always use it - and they love it just as much. Theodore has been confidently walking since 11 months old, and although he loves being lazy and being pushed along, we were ditching the pram ever so slowly. The hood (and the stroller) is made to look cooler with some cute details - labels depicting a plane and a piece of luggage on the other side. I would definitely put the Atom into the same group with the Babystyle Oyster Atom (with which it even shares the name), the Ergobaby Metro, the GB Qbit+ All-City, or the Easywalker Buggy XS.

What is probably not entirely apparent from those pictures is the feel of the materials - the fabrics are really robust, substantial, yet at the same time light and soft. Although I am already used to some standard when it comes to Maclaren strollers (I own a Techno XLR as a spare at our grandma's), I was nevertheless positively surprised with the quality finish and the feel of the materials. The automatic safety lock, which prevents the stroller from unfolding by itself, also needs to be tended to. The legs of your child won't be covered completely - you would need a much deeper hood, which is structurally impossible to do with an ultra-compact buggy - otherwise, it would definitely compromise the fold. The style set is fully loaded with key accessory essentials, including a Rain cover, Infant Comfort Pack, Seat Liner, and Storage Bag - ready to roll right out of the box. The aim was to provide honest information for moms thinking about purchasing this or any other stroller.

It also has two handy cup holders on the top meaning I can fit both Theodore's 360 cup and my reusable coffee cup for me! I see a lot of people giving positive feedback about the quality of this stroller but honestly I don’t share this opinion considering some of the competitors. This was an unpaid review describing the advantages as well as the disadvantages of the Maclaren Atom stroller, and it is based solely on our own experience. It is a shame that the popular Maclaren buckle with two safety elements (pressing it in the front and at the back simultaneously) is not present in this model. It has a zip to expand to almost double its size, and then, if that's not enough an extra small little sun flap can pop out! I love how the handle has a full bar instead of two separate curved handles like a lot of strollers do. There is also an integrated safety panel in the lower part of the seat for the security of the smallest babies.
