They are everything and I can finally say they are favourite couple and my favourite characters of this series. Most people give up at the part of the story where things are the worst, when the situation feels hopeless, but that is where hope is needed most. I love them both, but I feel like I bonded with Scarlett in Caraval and Stephanie Garber has written her characters to feel like friends. For the paying reader, it seems like rookie mistakes and a lazy editing job which tarnishes the quality of the book!But i very much wanted to finish out this series (in 2023) so i could pick up once upon a broken heart! It didn’t have quite so many shocking reveals as Caraval or Legendary, but it still held that aire of mystery and magic the previous two had. and, if anything, i really hope jacks gets a spin-off series, because i am craving more of his messy and tricky ways. Although it didn't take Percy a second to refuse when he was 16 and this god knows how many years old immortal took 463 pages just to decide.

Within ’Finale’ some wondrous new magic fuelled locations are explored and I adored every moment spent within them. Once Scarlett/Tella has finished with this annoying AF narration, they will then spend 4 seconds on the conflict they’ve discovered is currently happening in the room. It was another thing that was entirely too rushed for no apparent reason, for it’s not like she was tying up loose ends (STILL BITTER). I can't believe I finished this trilogy so quickly, everyone says that compared to OUABH, Caraval is boring, so I really want to get to OUABH and continue screaming and barking for Jacks.Overall, though, I loved how each sister had their own missions and their own storylines where they could each shine and be the heroes of their own fates. And my personal hope is that this book has all the magic of Caraval, along with all the heartbreak readers expect in a finale.
