close-proximity test was faster than the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E (106Mbps) but just a tad slower than the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 (128Mbps) and the Netgear RAXE500 (127Mbps). This will be used as an addition to my network purely for VR (nothing else will use it) and it will go in the same room as the Quest Pro for max bandwidth. If you've already upgraded to a modern phone with Wi-Fi 6E support (via Android Central) or plan to introduce compatible devices into your home, this router is one of the best upgrades for your network.

The TP-Link Archer AXE75 looks quite a bit like the Archer AX73 I reviewed over a year ago and on the spec sheet, it doesn’t look that much faster. If you’re looking at multi-gig internet service, you’ll want something with a more robust wired setup. It also offers strong parental controls and basic network security tools, and it’s a snap to install and manage. On the 30-foot test, the AXE75’s score of 360Mbps topped the Linksys Hydra Pro 6E (303Mbps) but was significantly slower than the Asus ROG Rapture GT-AXE16000 (521Mbps) and the Netgear RAXE500 (530Mbps).

This router was packed in cardboard with a reasonable amount of plastic making it easy to recycle in most places. AXE75 provides industry-leading speeds of up to 2402 Mbps on a clean 6GHz band, 2402 Mbps on a 5GHz band, and 574 Mbps on a 2. In terms of Wi-Fi speed, each can be as fast as its fastest band since a Wi-Fi connection takes place on a single band simultaneously. AIO Chassis as the base of the machine, we are able to provide the ultimate in experiences never before seen in an All In One form factor.

We offer a complete circular IT solution so as well as supplying the latest technology we also recycle unwanted tech, simplifying IT lifecycle management and helping to minimise the impact the technology industry is having on our environment with our fully accredited recycling facility.

Easily handle dozens of devices streaming and gaming at the same time — OFDMA and MU-MIMO combine to future-proof your home network by providing greater capacity to connect more devices. If you're expecting to set network time limits for your children's devices, you won't be able to do it for free. The Archer AXE75 looks like a typical router with a shiny top, inheriting the design of the Archer AX73. Wi-Fi 6E means Wi-Fi 6 extended to the 6 GHz band, bringing more bandwidth, faster speeds, and lower latency. Most Wi-Fi 5 and newer devices default to these larger 80 MHz channels, while some support even larger channels at 160 MHz.

There is a similar-looking Archer AX75 that swaps the 6GHz band for a second 5GHz band so make sure you’re grabbing the right version. Now, in the 2nd part of 2022, we’ve seen only the entry-level Deco XE75 and now the Archer AXE75; both have middling hardware specs and are relatively mundane in design. Wi-Fi 6E Unleashed - The brand new 6 GHz band brings more bandwidth, faster speeds, and near-zero latency. Now, to push more speed through a wireless connection, routers combine these 20 MHz channels into larger ones.
