Fujifilm XF35 mm F2 R WR, Black
- Brand: Unbranded
Description
It’s been a while since I’ve shot with the 35mm f2 so I wanted to go out and see how it performs on the X-T3 compared to some of the new cameras like the Z6. Nifty Fifty” has been used to describe a dozen 50MM lenses for the last number of decades by numerous manufactures.
Having had two months with the Fujifilm 35mm f/2, I can’t unfortunately say that I’ve fallen in love with the lens. It also features weather-sealing and a very solid build, plus the new microprocessor for faster autofocus.Totally off topic, but I wonder if anyone here have an ide why the only images I can see in this review is the two of the x-10 with the lense.
Even at f2, the Fujifilm 35mm can create sharp shots with creamy backgrounds photographers lust after.
For this shot, I was actually using an Einstein 640 (with I think a 48″ octa), that just sits in my living room at all times. For shooting astrophotography, you’ll likely end up with a bit of coma along the edges and corners with the stars. The only other real metal lenses made today are almost exclusively from LEICA; Nikon and Canon have been churning out mostly plastic since the 1980s. Again, the figures peak at f/4, but the difference between the apertures is really not very much at all.
