So off of multiple designs I designed a dampener that is smaller and that uses the pesky nerf rival balls. Dodgy seller beware: Pictures different from faulty item sent, would not admit after being dishonest, had to waste time sending back soemthing that was wrong and broken.

The inconvenience improved with Nerf’s Rival line, which debuted in 2015, but for 2021 the company is introducing a new Hyper line of blasters that fire smaller foam balls so you’ll be spending even less time reloading. However, please note that a barrel extension will decrease the dart velocity of your blaster, so this is intended for cosmetic purposes only. To get a sense of how much performance has changed, I compared the Hyper Rush-40 to the Rival Kronos — since the Rush is largely just a Kronos with the new projectiles on board. Weight and density of the balls can also affect their trajectory and how they interact with other objects during play. Not fast enough to leave a bruise, as paintballs can, but enough speed that you’d want to actively avoid getting hit during a shootout. During the manufacturing process, quality control measures are taken to ensure that the balls are consistent in size, shape, and density. Perhaps the biggest thing I don’t understand about Hasbro’s foam-flinging strategy is why it let this competition go unchecked, instead of building better darts itself. The sporting part of the Nerf community is increasingly standardizing on half-length of the same size of dart that Hasbro’s blasters have used for years, to the point nearly every player at my last Nerf war had at least one short dart blaster in their loadout. If Hasbro had simply made its foam Rival balls smaller, they would have been lighter too, which isn’t necessarily helpful for speed and accuracy.Always read labels, warnings, directions and other information provided with the product before using it. Keep in mind that anyone can view public collections - they may also appear in recommendations and other places. In the case of Nerf balls, polyurethane foam is used because it is soft enough to be safe for play, but also durable enough to withstand repeated use. Sellers are responsible for following applicable laws and regulations, including posting items with accurate labelling and warnings.

With the old Kronos, I can sometimes hit things I see in my sights, but I found little reason to aim with Hyper. This is a set of parts for modding the Nerf Zeus Rival to expand the Ball feeder and add a blower motor for pneumatic ball feeding. Whether you pick the Rush-40, Siege-50 or Mach-100, their integrated ammo boxes all rely on gravity to feed rounds into the chamber, and these rounds don’t always want to go in. And even when they do fire, you can’t expect them to go anywhere near where their blaster’s built-in aiming sights are pointed. These cookies or similar technologies enable us to provide more advanced and personalised functionality. The weight, shape and surface of the Rival balls have been specially developed for optimal flight characteristics. While they’re the same dimpled shape as the company’s larger foam Rival balls, the new TPE rounds are far denser and fly further. Please keep certain distance and please don't aim at the companion's face, to prevent injury to the eyes.

When your pipe is full, just tip the pipe over and dump the rounds into your ammo box, pail, or bag. The Rival line wasn’t the first time Nerf turned to foam balls as an ammo alternative to darts, but the real appeal was that it could hurl those tiny spheres (which looked like soft miniaturized golf balls) at speeds of up to 70 MPH, or around 100 feet per second. They travel faster and don’t loft in the air quite like Rival rounds, so they’ll likely be harder to dodge, too. I imagine they could even jam blasters if not for the Hyper hoppers’ tilt-down-to-load feeding chutes, which ensure only one round gets chambered at a time. If you're in for a little bit of fun, you can also select from a range of magic balls that have magnetic capabilities and are available in an array of colors. This amount includes seller specified domestic postage charges as well as applicable international postage, dispatch, and other fees.
