The body-switcheroo gimmick has been used before, but this was unique in it allowed Daredevil in Doom's body to really see again, and for an unsettled Doom to wonder why he senses more than sees his surroundings. Matt Murdock has no choice but to leave behind everything he's ever known, and Elektra is the last vestige of his former life. Traditional super-heroics mix effortlessly with mysterious martial artistry, doomed romance and dark personal drama. Issue 163 was always superb (with the Hulk) and Miller's pencils here still make me sigh, yearn to be 12 again and try those acrobatic moves!

This is the first silver age story I'd read, and whilst I found much enjoyment at times in its quaintness. But, and it's a big but, unlike many of these omnibus journeys, this one is pretty much fascinating and entertaining from the word go. But I think that this is important to mention for parents who may have children who like to read superhero comics. Bohužel je to z doby, kdy o "show don't tell" v komiksech nikdo neslyšel a na spoustě míst je to vidět dost bolestivě. These opening eleven issues are collected in the eminently affordable and couch-conducive-sized MIGHTY MARVEL MASTERWORKS: DAREDEVIL VOL.Stories that are intricately connected to the loose story threads that were made before Miller wrote on the book and he ties those ends up beautifully in the end. Daredevil loses his radar sense in this one and tries to buffalo the baddies into believing he can see. While many of the storylines continue to be straightforward action serials there are more complex episodic storylines and some good longer form conflicts with Kingpin and Electra. I recommend this book to anyone who likes their comic books with more rounded characters and clever, engaging plots! AMAZING JUST AMAZING not only did it arrive just in time it's the best quality I've ever seen, they were very kind and respectful with updates on the helmet.

In the interview in the back, Miller actually expresses a few times how he wanted to level the humour and violence so there was almost a balance, so one wouldn't become too much and make the book boring (shame he still doesn't take that approach, but I won't get into that). That being said, Frank Miller and Daredevil suit each other like Johnnie Walker and a dark and stormy night. And the continuous pandering to the reader, apologising and telling them that Daredevil would be punching someone again soon if they had the temerity to do a few pages of 'boring' set up. Turning off the personalised advertising setting won’t stop you from seeing Etsy ads, but it may make the ads you see less relevant or more repetitive.

Frank Miller is one of the seminal creative talents who sparked the current gigantic sub-industry of motion pictures featuring comic book- initiated product. Personalised advertising may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of information under California and other state privacy laws, and you may have a right to opt out. Matt Murdock has done battle with Marvel’s most maddening villains – but when the Jester enters the fray, the rules change forever. My criticism of his run lies solely with the fact that he wasn’t also providing the story for these issues. The central part of the story revolves around a fist fight in a movie theatre, with the Maltese Falcon in background. I was never a huge fan of Daredevil but since I've started collecting the recent stuff by Mark Waid (which is excellent by the way) I felt I finally needed to get this omnibus and explore what I was told was some of the best stories and art in comics history. Miller's Daredevil run is one of the most lauded, most hyped runs of any character, at least in my experience anyway. You can still figure out what the characters are saying and those missing words are very few (two to three words in the whole book IIRC). But I feel that those stories had more ups and downs compared to the stories since Elektra was introduced.

Due to reasons beyond Kai’s hands, the shipment was a bit slowed down and for that they added this super quality daredevil bust and shipped both out on fastest shipment speed with no extra cost.

Colan also drew the sexiest Invisible Girl of the era, looking even more fetching in her short-lived mini-skirted uniform with the black trim. In the final fist fight in the subway DeeDee has a chance to get rid of the bastard for good, with a little help from NYC railways. He is one of the most widely-recognized and popular creators in comics, and is one of the most influential comics creators of his generation. Elektra, Kingpin, the dark gritty underbelly of Hells Kitchen, all of these stories are masterfully told and hold up surprisingly well to the test of time.
