The plot involves the start up of the Diamond detective agents which is probably a disaster in se, having Tim as the detective and a 13 year-old brother (Nick) depending on him. I rate this book 5 stars because I thought it was funny and that it was the best detective story I have ever read. Beatrice von Falkenberg: The Falcon's Dutch wife, Beatrice von Falkenberg was once the greatest actress in the Netherlands.

They live in a flat above a supermarket in Fulham, and are down on their luck, with hopeless Herbert not being able to get a suitable job. New Old Friends’ acclaimed adaptation features four actors playing dozens of characters, comedy songs, and a fully realised car chase on stage! Although Nick’s efforts to salvage his older brother’s hopeless attempts at being a detective were always so quick witted, I did sometimes feel a little lost amidst the antics of the siblings and the deprecating commentary, rather than focusing on the greater goings on within the crime industry. THE FIRST REASON WHY I LIKE THIS BOOK IS BECAUSE BOUT A BOY NAME NICK FIGURING OUT A MYSTERY TO HELP HIS BIG BROTHER AND THE WHOLE POLICE DEPARTMENT.Not only does it provide you with questions that are only answered later on, but the comedy written in the book also entertains a lot, despite being small jokes, or just Tim's idiocy.

Schnelle Handlungen, Humor, sehr viel Wortwitz - den man am besten im englischen Original genießt, machen diese Bücher aus.The series is based on the book South by South East, which Horowitz claimed he wrote after he had written the television series, effectively making South by South East a novelisation of the television series rather than the novel acting as the primary source of inspiration. When a dwarf comes into the office and leaves a package, Tim Diamond, the world's worst private-detective, is faced with his toughest case yet. Next day, Johnny’s dead, Tim feels the heat, and his smart younger brother, Nick, gets the package—and every crook in town on his back! The Professor aka Quentin Quisling: Professor Quentin Quisling (his name is not mentioned until the chapter The Professor) was once the Falcon's technological whiz-kid, inventing various things for the Falcon.

It grabbed my attention and pushed me to read more and more to find out what will happen to Herbert and his brother. The Fat Man: The number one criminal in England, the Fat Man had often done deals with the Falcon, according to Snape, and he probably knew where Naples was staying before the police did. JUST TO FIND The MALTESER LIKE 9 PEOPLE DIED INCLUDING JHONEY NAPLES,BENNEY,KENNEY,FRED,LENNEY,AND The FAT MAN.We work closely with publishers and authors to ensure that we offer the best books on the market for your child. Tim has a job as a (lousy) private detective with barely any cases to investigate, and things look pretty bad for them, until a. Herbert suggests sending Nick to Australia or to Auntie Maurie in Slough, who has a semi-detached house, and a semi-detached hip, and often forces Nick to give her round the clock nursing. I recommend this book for readers who enjoyed the magnificent Alex Rider Series and also people who enjoy reading crime, mystery and adventure genre books.

The first chapter introduces Nicholas 'Nick' Simple and his older brother, Herbert Simple, who goes by the pseudonym 'Tim Diamond'. When Nick offers to tell Snape everything the Diamonds know in exchange for what the police know, Snape begins to tell his story.

The title relates to the book because the book is about the a box of Maltesers and the title is the falcon's malteser, "I doubt if you can fit five million dollars worth inside. Nick realises it must be valuable and decides to do something useful with his Christmas holiday, like going skiing, though Tim breaks his leg before they get on the plane and the money is wasted on fixing the leg. In The Diamond Brothers in… I Know What You Did Last Wednesday (2002), seven friends, along with the Diamond Brothers, are invited to a remote island for a school reunion. Our team is made up of book lovers who are dedicated to sourcing and providing the best books for kids. Nick, Herbert and Snape open the Falcon's bank account in his grave, and inside they find – nothing.
