Strange question but I want to use magnets to attach material to the outside to the cage to help keep some mess in! The explorer cage is made from tough and durable wrought iron and is finished with a powder coating, it has 2 levels with access to the top level by ladder, The explorer cage is very easy to clean out with a double opening door section on each level. The Little Zoo Huge Cag e is a popular cage for Dwarf Hamsters, Syrian Hamsters require a larger space. This cage is very well built with everything made from solid metal meaning no cheap chewable plastic yey! The trays aren't an issue for me as I use a thin layer of substrate and then add a deep digging box, plus my girls don't bother chewing them.

my rats love it they have bunches of room , they chewed the shelves a bit on the corners but certainly not enough to make the cage unusable. I've had the explorer and I much preferred the Ferret Nation (although the bar spacing on that is too wide for does). Measuring 93 x 63 x 159cm, this cage provides plenty of space to create the perfect home for your pets. What I've done is used both half levels that come with the cage, ome in its normal halfway place, the other sitting on the lowest horizontal rung and then put a full level above it so that I could maximise the space while still fitting in my two 14" wheels (see the post quoted below). If you are looking for a cage with several layers and levels to allow your hamster to climb through the tubes and explore you will find Scarlett's Little Zoo Henry and Harvey Cages are ideal. Anything over around half the footprint or around 2500sqcm counts towards CARA, extra full area shelves in the Explorer are excellent. The Explorer cage features two levels made of coated metal construction set on wheels with a deep metal base to include a pull out cleaning tray and four large swing opening doors located at the front of the cage. The cages look really good, I like the idea of the wood around the edges and shelving - I may be able to do something like that but my DIY skills are literally non existent. Another downside is that it is difficult to hang hammocks on the bottom floor as the upper base doesn't have bars under it. I find it works really well as is totally chew proof and your pretty much only limited to your budget and imagination when it comes to furnishing it (space isn't an issue).Good size for the money, but the amount you'd spend sorting it out with better trays cancels out the savings. Yeah I have the money for the Savic if necessary, I don't mind spending it if it really is worth the extra, I just don't really see the point in paying double if it's the same. With Four full size doors, this cage opens out fully and there is a pull out tray for easy cleaning.

I've been and seen both of these cages and I know people who have both and the Savics are much better. We know that flavour is just as important, so you can find a range of flavours of dry dog food including beef, chicken and turkey, so whatever needs your canine companion has, we’ll make sure that their tummies stay full and satisfied! We respect your privacy and we will not sell, trade, or otherwise transfer to outside parties your personal information. good for 2 rats like what we have, if you split the cage in 2 (move the middle tray around so the hole is covered) it will house 2 or more rat easily, we split up our male and female because we don't want/need baby rats.It is 96* 65 = 11700 CARA without counting the small additional metal shelves it comes with or any wooden ones added in (I'm not sure of the dimensions of those). I use the double version of the one this girl is trying to sell at the moment as my main adult female cage. The explorer cage is made from tough and durable wrought iron and is finished with a powder coating, it has 2 levels with access to the top level by ladder. There is a bolt on the upper section available for the Venturer cage should you decide you need a larger space for your pets. Ideal for degus, but also great for other small pets including rats, chinchillas, ferrets and other similar sized animals.
