Description

These biscuits come beautifully presented in a stylish tropical floral tube, making them a gift in their own right! Unlike Tunnock's however, royals have a thin layer of jam between the biscuit and marshmallow, and are smaller in size in compared to a Tunnock's teacake.

For the chocolate chips I just went for a mix of milk and dark chocolate chips as they are my favourite. Repeat this process for the second ball of dough and place both sheets of rolled out dough in the fridge to chill for at least 30 mins.Place the cut dough onto a baking tray lined with either a silicone mat or non-stick baking paper, leaving around a 4cm gap between each. Likely to allow for a better shelf life in the tropical climate, its "hard chocolate shell" is actually a soft chocolate covering that does not completely melt at room temperature. If you enjoyed this activity and you're looking for more ways to keep the little ones entertained, we have plenty more
You don’t want them too large as you have to sandwich two cookies together and that really would be overload if you used NYC size. There is an online appreciation society for the Tunnock's Teacake [34] and Dundee University also has an appreciation society for the Tunnocks Teacake. They were invented in Denmark in the 19th century [1] and later also produced and distributed by Viau in Montreal as early as 1901. Sometimes they are consumed pressed between two halves of a bun, which is also referred to as a Matschbrötchen ("Mud Roll" or "Squished Bread Roll") – mostly by children.

The S’mores cookies were an absolute nostalgia trip – the gooey marshmallow and chocolate combo was like a campfire treat in cookie form. Drain the gelatine, squeezing out any excess water with your hands, then roughly chop into small pieces. My children make them on the bonfire, and they are also easy to prepare on the glowing embers at the end of a barbecue, so they are a perfect sweet something after a fireworks party or garden supper.Using a pastry brush, wet the back of your fondant toppers with water and stick them onto your biscuits. In Finland, the name originated from Germany, and they were named "Negro's Kisses" ( neekerinsuukot) in 1951. Take the biscuits, 100g mini marshmallows and up to 100g of additional ingredients (dried fruit, nuts, popcorn, honeycomb), if you like, and stir into the chocolate mixture until everything is completely covered.
