Masih seperti buku sebelumnya, isi buku ini digambarkan dengan detail, membuatku mudah mengimajinasikannya dengan sangat jelas. There's even ‘A Dictionary of Curious Words’ at the end to help with unfamiliar, technical language. Such questions are not only important for him but for other young readers as well, and to see how brave Robert deals with these problems will hopefully inspire many a child. Meanwhile, young Robert tries to find information about his mother, who abandoned Robert when he was only a baby. This time the focus is more on Robert, who finds a mysterious moonlocket and has to find out what the link is with his mother and the rest of his family.

Peter grew up in London in a rambling Victorian house with 3 cats, 2 dogs, 1 little sister, an antique dealer dad and an artist mum. Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. Peter grew up in South London in a rambling Victorian house with three cats, two dogs, one sister, an antique-dealer dad and an artist mum. The sequel to the hugely popular Cogheart, Bunzl reunites Lily, Robert and their mechanical fox, Malkin, for another action packed adventure.

But they are also flawed, they get scared, they do stupid things, they are real… It is a book filled with puzzles and adventure. The notorious showman, trickster and thief extraordinaire, Jack Door, has escaped from his high security prison cell and is out to reclaim his greatest prize, a magnificent jewel belonging to the queen and which, even after his arrest, was never recovered. The story picked up not long after where the previous book finished and included all of the fabulous goodies from the first tale - but we also got introduced to more! Thank you so much to North Star Editions/Jolly Fish Press who sent me an ebook through NetGalley to review of MoonLocket written by Peter Bunzel.

I still found that Lily annoyed me a little at times, but in the end, she is a child, and children do have a way of believing that they know best and they NEED to do things to help the situations that arise. A fun steampunk adventure as two best friends and a mechanical fox try to stop a criminal mastermind, Jack Diamond. Peter Bunzl has once again created a world that sucks you into the steampunk streets, skies and sewers of Victorian England, routing for Lily and Robert against a criminal mastermind who can only be described as evil. Secrets from Robert’s past start unraveling faster than the pair can understand the dangers they place them in. We have a handful of new characters in this book, with most of the loved ones from the first book being retained as well (Captain Springer, Mrs Rust and the others, I'm pleased to report, were just as wonderful here). We see various other parts of Victorian London not explored in book one in all their steampunk glory, and the author's touches to this with mechanicals, mechanimals, airships and the likes was, of course, fantastic. Peter’s books have been translated into 16 languages and sold nearly half-a-million copies worldwide. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you.I have even talked the head into a little revamp of the library so that we can display them properly! When notorious Jack Door escapes prison in to reclaim the Blood Moon Diamond, Lily and Robert are the ones who must stop him. Lily has a mechanical heart and this leads to inner conflict as she tries to determine whether she is human or not whilst subconsciously questioning what defines human. Peter Bunzl grew up in South London in a rambling Victorian house with three cats, two dogs, one sister, an antique-dealer dad and an artist mum.
